Leaked hi-res images give us our best look yet at Apple’s iPhone 11

%name Leaked hi res images give us our best look yet at Apple’s iPhone 11 by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

There will be several high-profile flagship smartphone launches between now and early September, but Apple’s upcoming new iPhone 11 is already stealing the spotlight. We’ve got the Galaxy Fold, the Galaxy Note 10, and several big launches coming up in China. In fact, the world’s first smartphone with a hidden under-display selfie camera could be announced as soon as tomorrow. Still, all eyes are already on Apple’s unreleased iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Max, and iPhone 11R (or whatever Apple ends up calling them), the designs of which have been revealed in a series of leaks from numerous reliable sources.

In much the same way that the iPhone 7 was really the “iPhone 6ss” since it used the exact same design but spiced things up with exciting new features, the iPhone 11 is shaping up to be an “iPhone Xss.” It’ll sport the same overall design with a few minor tweaks and a massive new camera bump on the back. That new camera bump will be a bit of an eyesore at first, but it’s also the key to several of the best new features expected to arrive on the iPhone 11, such as an enhanced night mode for the camera that should yield low-light photos that rival Google’s Pixel phones.

We have indeed seen the iPhone 11 leak plenty of times already, but this latest leak comes from a source with a terrific track record and it might give us our best look yet at Apple’s unreleased iPhone 11.

%name How to install iOS 13 public beta 1 on your iPhone and iPad right now by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

It’s not July yet, but it sure feels like it, as Apple released iOS 13 public beta 1, which is now available to download for supported iPhones, iPod touch, and iPads (as iPadOS). The public beta is the equivalent of the iOS 13 beta 2 that Apple released last week, which means you’re on the same footing as developers. Also, it means the beta should be even more stable than the first developers beta. So how do you install it? It’s quite simple, following the same recipe of previous iOS public betas.

Tickets started going on sale Monday night for this weekend’s re-release of Avengers: Endgame, which is heading back into theaters for a brief run that gives the Marvel superhero epic a fighting chance to finally surpass Avatar as the highest-grossing movie of all time.

But that’s not the only reason the re-release of the roughly three-hour blockbuster has been making headlines. We already knew we were in for roughly six minutes of previously never-before-seen-footage in this new version of the film, and now the first details of what those minutes will actually contain may have been revealed.

Watch SpaceX launch its Falcon Heavy rocket live right here

%name Watch SpaceX launch its Falcon Heavy rocket live right here by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

After a stellar start to 2019, SpaceX’s string of good fortune came to a halt when its Crew Dragon capsule exploded during a recent static fire test. The investigation into what caused the “anomaly” is still ongoing, but the show must go on, and the company is set to launch its Falcon Heavy tonight for only the third time ever.

The launch is a late one, with the launch window opening at 11:30 p.m. EDT, but since this is SpaceX’s biggest, most powerful rocket — and since it’s only been launched two times before tonight — it’ll obviously be worth staying up for.

‘Harry Potter: Wizards Unite’ couldn’t match the early success of ‘Pokemon Go’

%name ‘Harry Potter: Wizards Unite’ couldn’t match the early success of ‘Pokemon Go’ by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

After launching a day early in the US, the new AR-based mobile game from Niantic that draws from the magical world of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter does an admirable job of following up the company’s previous smash hit mobile game, Pokemon Go.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is now available to download and play in 130 countries, and it’s off to a pretty good start, at least judging by the critical reaction which has largely praised how well the game incorporates the use of augmented reality.

Huawei’s foldable phone will ship with Android, despite US ban

%name Huawei’s foldable phone will ship with Android, despite US ban by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

We’ve had two foldable phone reveals already this year, but you still can’t buy either model in stores.

Samsung’s Galaxy Fold was recalled for repairs after early reviewers discovered that the foldable screen can be rendered useless with relative ease. Huawei’s Mate X was just postponed to September, and we thought at the time the Galaxy Fold’s fate was to blame for the delay. However, we have more details about the Mate X, and it looks like the phone will launch on time, running the Android version you know and love.
