Just over an hour after Apple seeded iOS 7.1.2 to the public, 9to5Mac confirmed that the Pangu untethered jailbreak originally released for iOS 7.1.1 still works on iOS devices. The jailbreak was released after Apple had already begun seeding the 7.1.1 update to carriers, so the chance that the company would have been able to combat a jailbreak in the interim was unlikely anyway.

The People’s Daily’s Twitter account — yes, that’s the same People’s Daily that’s the official state-run newspaper of China — directs our attention to an unidentified YouTube user from Taiwan who has the amazing ability to put on a pair of pants without even once using his hands.

This morning we got some good news when we learned that the actual iPhone 6 models Apple plans to launch this fall will likely have a crucial difference compared to the hundreds of mockups we’ve seen at this point. Instead of having the awful plastic inserts on them that completely ruins the sleek look of the aluminum housings, they will reportedly feature glass pieces above the antennas similar to the ones on the current iPhone 5s.

Following that good news, however, we have a bit of potential bad news. According to a report out of China, new technology Apple is using in its iPhone 6 displays is supposedly causing production difficulties that could impact Apple’s supply of next-generation iPhones at launch.

For now, we shift focus to a different part of the debate: Should wireless services be covered by net neutrality?
