In just over a year’s time, one of the biggest PC gaming franchises in history is going to make the transition to the silver screen. If you hadn’t heard, Warcraft, a movie which spent several years in and out of development hell, is currently in the middle of post-production. Late on Sunday, the hotly anticipated trailer from the Aaron Sorkin penned Steve Jobs biopic premiered online. While the trailer itself is somewhat subdued, it provides our first glimpse at Michael Fassbender and Seth Rogan who assume the roles of Apple co-founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, respectively.

Due to Sorkin’s penchant for delivering incredible stories with memorable dialogue (his past works include A Few Good Men, The Social Network, and The West Wing), there’s been a tremendous amount of interest in the second attempt at a Jobs biopic, the first, of course, being the largely panned Ashton Kutcher movie titled Jobs.

There was a time when Samsung never worried about launching a new Galaxy Note model in the fall even though it meant running directly into a new iPhone launch. However, with the launch of the iPhone 6 Plus last year, Samsung’s thinking may have changed. G for Games points us to a new rumor in Korean blog Whowired that claims Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 5 in later July, or a little more than a month before Apple is expected to unveil its newest iPhone phablet in September.

By now you’ve read and listened to plenty of commentary covering the Apple Watch from watch lovers young and old. There’s no question that Apple’s first wearable device is making waves in Switzerland, where longtime leaders are now struggling to figure out exactly how to respond to Apple’s new gadget. Sadly, most of the responses we’ve seen so far are just awful.

There is no question that Swiss watchmakers need to respond to the Apple Watch. As younger generations get older and connected devices proliferate, Switzerland’s customer base will continue to shrink unless it can begin to not just compete, but also innovate.

But it’s not just younger generations Swiss watchmakers need to worry about — even lifelong mechanical watch collectors are abandoning the devices they love in favor of the Apple Watch.
