The hilarious reason Tony Stark runs out of food in space – and it’s not an ‘Avengers: Endgame’ spoiler
We’re nearly there, Avengers fans, the movie we’ve all been waiting for already out in cinemas in some markets, while other countries will get it on April 25th, a day ahead of the official release. We’ll finally learn how the Avengers will beat Thanos and undo the Snap — that’s not a spoiler, that’s something Doctor Strange told us right before turning to dust back in Infinity War. After all, what we’re about to see is that one future where the Avengers get to win, not one of the more than 14 million other versions where they keep losing. If you love spoilers, then you already know what happens in Endgame and how it’ll all go down. We won’t share any of these spoilers with you this time (although here’s an excellent place to start if you want any). Instead, we’re going to show you the hilarious reason why Tony Stark’s food runs out while he’s drifting in space with no hope of rescue.

Leak suggests the OnePlus 7 Pro will be the most expensive OnePlus phone ever
The moment a smartphone vendor tries to sell you a version of their latest flagship that has a Plus/Max/Pro in its name, it should be clear the device will be more expensive than the regular model. The same goes for the OnePlus 7 Pro which will join the regular OnePlus 7 this year. The Pro part means the handset is going to be more expensive than the base model, and we have an idea of what that means.

NASA’s InSight lander may have just captured a ‘Marsquake’ for the first time
NASA’s Mars rovers have provided breathtaking images from the surface of Mars for many years, but listening to Mars is a whole other story. The InSight lander, which touched down on Mars in late 2018, is designed to listen closely to the inner workings of the planet, and it may have just nailed a huge milestone.
In a new blog post, NASA reveals what appears to be a recording of audio from the first Marsquake observed by the lander. It’s a small step in a long road ahead for InSight, but it’s an exciting development in a mission that has seen more than its fair share of trouble.

Used Tesla Model S vehicles tend to sell faster than other used luxury sedans
There aren’t many items that depreciate in value quite like a car. Indeed, there’s an old rule of thumb which holds that a car will lose nearly 10% of its value the moment you drive it off the lot. While that might be a slight exaggeration, there is a kernel of truth to that old adage.
Tesla vehicles, like any other cars, are certainly prone to depreciation, but a number of studies in recent years have found that Tesla vehicles tend to retain more relative value than similarly priced luxury cars. Late last year, for instance, an Autolist study revealed that a Model S with 50,000 miles on it will see its value go down by 27% whereas a Mercedes S Class with 50,000 miles on it will experience a 33% drop in value.

Google Maps will now let you know if nearby EV charging stations are in use
As appealing as owning an electric vehicle sounds, the idea of having to find somewhere to charge it is somewhat off-putting. But if that was one of the only hurdles keeping you from taking the leap and buying an EV, Google just made your life a whole lot easier. In the latest Google Maps update, Google made it possible to see real time availability of charging ports throughout the United States and United Kingdom within its app.

T-Mobile says Verizon’s mmWave 5G won’t really benefit most Americans
If we’re being honest, it’s been a while since we’ve seen a revolutionary new smartphone feature or technology hit the market. While that’s not to say that recent smartphone releases from the likes of Apple and Samsung have been boring, they haven’t exactly engendered waves of excitement either.
Which brings us to 5G. In recent months there has been a tremendous amount of hype surrounding the blazing fast speeds 5G will provide smartphone users. And though broad 5G coverage is still a long ways away, the reality is that 5G may prove to be more of an evolutionary upgrade as opposed to the revolutionary breakthrough we’ve been led to believe. Now this isn’t to say that 5G won’t offer discernible speed improvements, but rather that the actual speeds 5G will enable for most users won’t be as impressive as you might think.

Feds bust Texas family for Masters ticket scam that used stolen identities
This year’s Masters golf tournament turned out to be one for the ages, with the venerable Tiger Woods completing a historic return to form and besting a stacked field of competitors. Four members of a Texas family thought they could perform a similar feat, rising to the top of the Masters ticket lottery system using countless stolen identities to dramatically improve their chances of purchasing tickets for resale.
Stephen Michael Freeman, both of his parents, and his sister were all charged with federal crimes ranging from conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, aggravated identity theft, to basic conspiracy. Fines and up to 20 years in prison now await them.

Apple’s turn-around time for MacBook Pro repairs just got faster
I wouldn’t go so far as to call the butterfly-switch keyboard design Apple introduced on its 2016 MacBook Pro a complete disaster, but it’s certainly not encouraging that the design continues to frustrate users nearly three years after first hitting store shelves.
Apple at the time boasted that the new keyboard design was 40% thinner than its predecessor while allowing for “greater precision” when typing. That notwithstanding, it’s been well-documented that the keyboard is prone to breaking down if even the slightest bit of debris manages to wedge itself underneath the keyboard. And though Apple has taken measures to make the keyboard more robust, the company just a few weeks ago acknowledged that some users are still experiencing usability issues with its third-gen butterfly keyboard design.

SpaceIL’s lunar lander crashed because of ‘manual command’
It’s now been a couple of weeks since Israel’s first attempt to land on the Moon was met with disaster at the last possible moment. The SpaceIL Beresheet lander crashed onto the Moon after what appeared to be some kind of engine failure in the final moments of approach, but new information is coming to light that suggests the engine may have had a good reason for shutting down.
A recent statement from SpaceIL offers a bit more context for the way the mission came to its unfortunate end, though plenty of questions remain.
