Study suggests wasps are capable of logical thinking, and that should terrify you
Running into a wasp — or even worse, several wasps — on a nice summer day can be terrifying. Unlike honeybees, some wasp species are aggressive, and if they decide your can of Mt. Dew is actually their can of Mt. Dew you could be in for a painful confrontation.
But just how smart are wasps? Research on honeybees has shown that they don’t seem capable of logical reasoning, but a new study by scientists at the University of Michigan suggests that the same may not be true of paper wasps. The work, which was published in Biology Letters, reveals that paper wasps may be able to logically deduce facts based on their own observations.

Massive ‘Game of Thrones’ leak might spoil everyone who lives and dies
I had such high hopes for the final season of Game of Thrones, but like Jon Snow on numerous occasions, I knew nothing. We’re now four episodes into the final season, with the last one easily being the worst of the season and possibly the entire series so far. On the plus side, we’ll soon find out who will win the Iron Throne, put season 8 behind us, and pretend it never happened. But it turns out we might not have to wait two more weeks to see what HBO has prepared for us, as a huge collection of Game of Thrones leaks might have just spoiled everything about what will happen next. Who lives and who dies by the end of the show’s finale? Before I tell you what the word on the street is, I’ll point out that what’s about to follow is dark and full of spoilers.

Marvel announces release dates for every MCU Phase 4 movie through 2022
With Avengers: Endgame out in theaters worldwide, this chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is finally coming to a close. The so-called Infinity Saga, which began with Iron Man in 2008, is over, but a new chapter is about to kick off. Marvel is being even quieter than usual (which is hard to do) about the future of its cinematic universe beyond Spider-Man: Far From Home, but this week, we did finally get a concrete schedule for Phase 4.
Following its recent acquisition of the Fox film studios, Disney shared an updated release schedule for dozens of films through 2027 on Tuesday, including the next three Star Wars movies, the Avatar sequels (which have been delayed once again), untitled Pixar films, and most importantly, eight upcoming Marvel movies.

Apple’s new iPhone 11R design just leaked for the first time
Apple’s next-generation iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max smartphones have been leaking like crazy lately. We’ve gotten all sorts of detail from TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the most accurate Apple insider in the world, and it’s obviously safe to say that the info he shared is accurate. Then we saw the actual designs leak courtesy of CAD files that were stolen from the Foxconn factory where Apple’s new iPhone models will be manufactured. These new renders basically confirmed everything we had heard, that the new iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max will look just like the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, but they’ll have a new triple-lens camera arrays on the back of each phone.
The iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max are Apple’s flagship smartphones for 2019, so they’re obviously the most talked about models right now. When it comes to popularity and sales, however, it’s practically guaranteed that the third new 2019 iPhone model will top both of the flagships. The iPhone 11R, or whatever Apple ends up calling it, is expected to be priced in line with the current iPhone XR, just as Apple’s iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max are seen carrying the same price tags as the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max do now. With pricing that soars as high as $1,500, it’s no wonder that the iPhone XR outsells its flagship counterparts.
Just like the iPhone 11 and 11 Max, the iPhone 11R will apparently also get a minor design refresh in 2019. And now, a new leak seemingly shows us Apple’s final iPhone 11R design for the first time.

Google’s Android fragmentation fix still isn’t working at all
Google I/O 2019 is now underway, and the show this year opened the same way it does every year. CEO Sundar Pichai and other Google executives took the stage to deliver a keynote presentation that sets the tone for Google’s ecosystem in the year to come. This year, the focus was clearly once again on artificial intelligence, augmented reality, and machine learning, with Google Assistant now finding itself at the center of Google’s most exciting experiments. Decidedly less exciting were all of the new Android Q features that the company showed off on Tuesday. Of course, the fact that Android Q is a bit boring shouldn’t really be a big deal to anyone for the time being, even for people who use Android smartphones and tablets. Why? Because for the vast majority of people out there, it will still be years before Android Q actually makes it to any of their devices.
