OK, this has to be a mistake: The $130 Instant Pot Aura is down to $59.95 on Amazon
There are almost always decent Instant Pot deals available on Amazon. Then during big shopping events like Black Friday and Prime Day, the best deals of the year pop up and offer some truly terrific prices on the world’s most popular multi-cookers. As good as Black Friday and Prime Day deals are though, we’ve never seen an Instant Pot sale like the one we just stumbled across on Amazon. The $130 Instant Pot 6 Qt Aura Multi-Use Programmable Multicooker is currently on sale for just $59.95 with free Prime delivery. That’s a discount of more than 50%, which is completely unheard of with Instant Pots.
There is no question that this deal will sell out, but you should order one even after shipping quotes start to slip. Our guess is it’s a mistake, but Amazon will still have to honor the sale price even if it is. There literally might never be a better deal on an Instant Pot, so hurry!

Thousands of Linksys routers leaked detailed device connection records
If you were looking for more proof that all of your connected devices were out to get you, look no further than a new report from Bad Packets chief research officer Troy Mursch, who revealed last week that dozens of Linksys Smart Wi-Fi routers are leaking full records of all the devices that have ever connected to them. Some of the information that is possible to dig up by exploited this flaw includes the MAC address, the name of the device, WAN settings, firewall status, and even whether or not the default password for the router has ever been changed.
With the help of the BinaryEdge cybersecurity team, Bad Packets was able to find 25,617 Linksys routers that were leaking sensitive information to the public internet. As Mursch says, exploiting the flaw doesn’t require authentication “and can be exploited by a remote attacker with little technical knowledge.”

Elon Musk: Tesla needs to cut costs or it will run out of money in 10 months
Defying skeptics, Tesla during the September quarter of 2018 actually managed to turn a profit of $312 million thanks to strong demand for the mass market Model 3. Tesla’s profits for the quarter were far from staggering, but it nonetheless instilled faith that the electric automaker was on a path towards financial viability.
Just a few months later, the narrative surrounding Tesla has drastically shifted. When the company last month released its earnings report for the March quarter, it posted a quarterly loss of $702 million. That said, it’s worth noting that production, deliveries, and demand for Tesla vehicles have all grown at an impressive clip over the past many months. As an illustrative example, Tesla during Q1 of 2019 manufactured 77,100 vehicles, a figure which well more than double the amount it manufactured during the same quarter in 2018.

It’s official: The ‘Game of Thrones’ series finale was the worst episode in the show’s history
A few weeks ago, the fourth episode of the last Game of Thrones season needed only a few days to become the show’s worst-rated episode on IMDB. It had an average rating of 6.6/10 from more than 62,000 reviews, and that rating sank even lower in the days that followed — it’s currently at 6.0 out of over 111,000 reviews at the time of this writing. In other words, it seemed unlikely that any episode that would follow it, including the penultimate installment of the series and the finale, would break that record. Alas, “The Iron Throne” did what no on thought possible, especially considering that it had plenty of good parts, and that’s to become the worst-rated Game of Thrones episode in the history of the show.

Japan just sent a privately-funded rocket into space for the first time ever
SpaceX is already a household name around the globe, but there’s no shortage of other startups vying for their slice of the private spaceflight pie. Companies like the Jeff Bezos-led Blue Origin are doing some pretty impressive things, and a relatively new startup out of Japan just hit a big milestone as well.
The company, named Interstellar Technologies Inc, launched its MOMO-3 rocket into space over the weekend, reaching an altitude of over 100 kilometers before running out of steam and tumbling back down to Earth. The rocket, which is part of the company’s long-term plan of providing satellite launch services to commercial partners, is built using many parts that are readily available from a variety of manufacturers.
