Tesla Model S catches fire at a Supercharger station in Belgium
In yet another peculiar story involving a Tesla vehicle catching fire for no apparent reason, Electrek reports that a Model S stationed at a Supercharger station in Antwerp, Belgium caught fire while hooked up to a charger.
Thankfully no one was hurt in the ordeal, but the car itself and the charger station were quite charred as a result. One of the more intriguing aspects of the whole ordeal involved how local fire authorities extinguished the fire, which can often be tricky when dealing with an electric vehicle. According to a report from HLN, the fire department picked up the Model S and submerged it into a tank of water, leaving it there overnight to prevent it from reigniting.

Microsoft showed off a dual-screen next-gen Surface device behind closed doors
One of Microsoft’s next-gen Surface laptops has two screens instead of one, joined by a hinge, according to a new report from The Verge. Before you get excited about a Surface Phone, you should know the Centaurus isn’t that either, as it’s a more sizable gadget rather than a pocketable computer. Still, Microsoft is moving forward with new form factors for the Surface line, and it’s ready to show off its prototype internally.

This is what the new volume HUD in iOS 13 looks like
Earlier today, Apple officially unveiled iOS 13, the next-gen version of the mobile OS that powers Apple’s line of iPhones and iPads. In the weeks and months leading up to WWDC, there was a lot of excitement surrounding the introduction of iOS 13, if only because Apple with iOS 12 opted to focus on system performance and delay a number of planned features until iOS 13. And now that Apple’s WWDC keynote has come and gone, it’s safe to say that iOS 13 did not disappoint.
While iOS 13 on the iPhone doesn’t exactly overhaul the user experience — as some were undoubtedly hoping for — there are certainly no shortage of features and improvements that should make updating a no-brainer for all users. Now one UI tweak in iOS 13 that Apple didn’t officially mention but was rumored to be in cards centered on one of the more annoying aspects of the iPhone — the volume HUD.

‘Dragon Quest Walk’ turns ‘Pokemon Go’ into a full-scale RPG
There have been multiple Pokemon Go clones in the years since the mobile phenomenon launched, but none have made a fraction of the impact as the original. Niantic’s next game, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, has a chance to once again reach a wide audience when it launches later this year, but another game developer is going to attempt to stake its claim on the location-based mobile game market with a popular franchise of its own.
On Monday, Square Enix announced Dragon Quest Walk for iOS and Android devices. As the name suggests, this is a mobile spin-off of the popular Japanese RPG series that began over 30 years ago. And as in Pokemon Go, you will play the game by walking around and interacting with creatures and locations on the map.

Doctors thought this woman had a brain tumor but it was actually a tapeworm festering in her skull
A New York woman who was prepared for a long battle against brain cancer got some shocking news when doctors finally opened up her skull. 42-year-old Rachel Palma had been experiencing some bizarre symptoms that prompted doctors to perform a scan of her brain, and when the images came back they appeared to show a brain tumor had taken root. The reality was somehow even more frightening.
As WCYB reports, doctors spotted a lesion that looked a whole lot like a marble-sized tumor. Palma and her family prepared for the seemingly inevitable fight against the disease, which was to include surgery followed by rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. That’s when doctors discovered that it wasn’t a brain tumor at all, but a parasite.
