Ubisoft E3 2019 live stream: Watch Ubisoft’s E3 press conference live right here
The E3 2019 show floor still isn’t open yet, but the press conferences are still going strong, with Ubisoft set to take the stage at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET on Monday, June 10th. Ubisoft never fails to entertain with its bonkers E3 showcases, and this year is sure to be the same, so if you’re looking for a bit of chaos, be sure to tune in.
This year’s event should be a healthy mix of already released live games and new titles we haven’t seen before. At least, we were not supposed to see them, but a few leaked ahead of the conference. The Division 2, For Honor, and Rainbow Six Siege are all still going strong, so expect updates on all three during the show today. There might also be some additional Assassin’s Creed Odyssey content in store (at least I’m hoping there is).

Microsoft wasted its best opportunity to get the jump on Sony at E3 2019
When Sony announced last fall that it would be skipping E3 for the first time ever in 2019, my mind started racing. Sony dominated the current console generation with the PS4, but with a new generation approaching, it was going to give Microsoft the opportunity to control the narrative during arguably the most important week for gaming of the year. With that knowledge in mind, I assumed Microsoft would go all out for its E3 2019 briefing.
In some ways, it did. The first concrete details about the next Xbox console, Project Scarlett, were revealed. We also learned when we would be able to try the xCloud game streaming service for ourselves. But as the conference ended and Microsoft played a highlight reel of everything it had announced, I couldn’t help but feel like the company missed its chance to get a head start on the next generation and plant the seeds to overtake Sony in 2020.

Razer turned an April Fools’ joke into a real ‘performance drink’ for gamers, and it’s actually good
A number of years back, Razer — the gaming gear brand — announced a new product that didn’t actually exist. It was called Razer “Project Venom,” and it was a gaming drink that Razer dreamt up as an April Fools’ Day gag. Now, nearly a decade later, it actually exists. No, it’s not called Razer Venom. That’s certainly a catchy name, but Razer instead decided to spin the beverage off into its own brand called Respawn. It’s a powdered drink mix that you dump into a shaker with some water and then sip on during long gaming sessions.
I had the chance to try the four Respawn flavors available at launch (which is today), and I was pleasantly surprised.

The iPhone XR and XS screens scratch way too easily, so you need these $2 screen protectors
Apple didn’t announce anything official with regard to the oleophobic coating on its latest iPhone models, the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. But there’s no question whatsoever that the company made some big changes to the oil-resistant layer on top of its newest iPhone displays. As a result, there are two big changes that everyone notices. First, the new iPhones resist oil much better than earlier models, and the oleophobic coating lasts much longer before wearing off. Pixel 4 renders just leaked, and it looks like an iPhone 11 copycat
When you’re talking flagship smartphones, devices like the iPhone and Samsung’s Galaxy S series typically garner most, if not all, of the attention. Over the past few years, though, Google has made impressive strides with its Pixel line. Especially with the launch of Night Sight mode a few months back, the PIxel 3 quickly catapulted itself into the upper echelon of the smartphone market.
For as compelling as the Pixel 3 is, Google is seemingly prepared to take things to the next level with the launch of its next-gen Pixel. And with the release date now less than 6 months away, we’ve started to see a steady stream of Pixel 4 leaks emerge over the past few weeks.

Apple releases iOS 12.3.2 for iPhone and iPad with a fix for an annoying bug
We’re all anxious for iOS 13 following Apple’s big reveal at WWDC last week, but the iPhone maker still isn’t finished with iOS 12 quite yet. On Monday, Apple rolled out iOS 12.3.2, which appears to be little more than a bug fix for select iPhone 8 Plus users that have been experiencing issues with Portrait mode depth effects.
With just a few months to go until iOS 13 launches this fall, it seems likely that iOS 12.4 (and any subsequent 12.4 releases) will be the end of the line for iOS 12. Several betas have already rolled for iOS 12.4, and other than support for the Apple Card, there don’t appear to be many significant changes to the operating system.
