Like everything else in the universe, galaxies are born, live, and ultimately die, and thanks to incredibly powerful tools like the Hubble Space Telescope, we get to see various galaxies at virtually every stage of their lives.

One of its newest observations was just published on the Hubble website and it features the dwarf starburst galaxy ESO 495-21. Its name may lack personality, but it more than makes up for it with a violent heart that is rapidly pumping out newborn stars. The galaxy is packed with large stars that are all quite young, and it shows no signs of slowing down.

NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter is an incredibly useful tool that allows scientists to image areas of the planet’s surface with ultra-sharp detail. It has revealed many things about Mars and offered insights into how the planet’s weather has affected its geography over millions and sometimes billions of years.

Apparently, it’s also really good at building hype with sci-fi fans.

One of the orbiter’s recent images of the Red Planet is getting far more attention than most, and it’s causing quite a stir on social media. In the image, the long-still remains of an ancient dune catch the eye immediately, and for good reason: it’s in the shape of the Star Trek logo.

A few days ago, Google posted a Pixel 4 render on Twitter in response to the increasing number of leaks, revealing in the process that the newest rumors were right. The phone will have a dual-lens camera on the back housed in a square-shaped camera module that looks a lot like the iPhone 11’s camera. Since then, we learned the phone will be released in October, which is the regular schedule for the Pixel series, and that Google had three distinct prototypes in the works, including models that featured in-display fingerprint sensors and no physical buttons. Now, we already have a photo of the Pixel 4 in the wild, and it obviously looks exactly like the phone in Google’s render.
