It’s not just you: Facebook confirms its site is having problems for many users
If you logged into Facebook today, you may have noticed that the site is acting a bit wonky. Pages are slow to load and many images on individual profiles aren’t showing up. The issues above aren’t just exclusive to Facebook, however. Users across Facebook’s suite of properties — which includes Instagram and WhatsApp — have reported similar usability issues over the past few hours.
Facebook hasn’t divulged the reason for the temperamental behavior but the social networking giant did acknowledge that some users are having trouble accessing their properties and that engineers are working hard to identify and rectify the root of the problem.

The 10 best movies and shows coming to Netflix in July 2019
For the second month in a row, one addition to the Netflix streaming library looms large over every other new movie and TV show. Last month it was Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and this month it’s Stranger Things 3. The third season of Netflix’s nostalgic thriller is one of the most anticipated releases for the streamer all year, and timing it to launch during a holiday week means many of us will be spending the weekend indoors bingeing.
If you don’t get your fill of David Harbour (Jim Hopper) from Stranger Things, you can also see him in Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein, which is a mockumentary about an acting family that looks absolutely insane. If you haven’t seen the trailer, I highly recommend you make time for it ASAP.

Uber Eats now lets you preorder the food you want to eat in a restaurant
Uber has introduced a brand new feature of its food delivery service that involves absolutely no food delivery whatsoever. Instead of having a driver pick up your order and bring it to your home, the new Uber Eats feature lets place food preorders with your favorite restaurants before you actually arrive at the restaurant to enjoy your next meal. The service isn’t yet available in all markets, but it’s a smart addition to Uber’s arsenal, both for the company and the consumer.
