Every free NES game added to Nintendo Switch Online in July 2019
One of the biggest disappointments of E3 2019 was that it came and went without Nintendo announcing any plans to bolster the Nintendo Switch Online free classic games library with SNES or N64 games. It did not seem all that likely, but it stings nonetheless, especially as we’ve once again dropped down from three to just two new additions for the month of July. Thankfully, the selection is somewhat better this month.
Plus, for the first time in a quite a while, Nintendo has improved the service with a brand new feature, which you can read more about below, along with details on the two games added to Switch Online.

Nintendo announces the Switch Lite, coming this September for $199
It finally happened: Nintendo announced the cheaper Switch console that kept popping up in rumors and reports on Wednesday. Called Nintendo Switch Lite, the device costs $199.99, and it’s meant to be used in handheld mode only, as it can’t be connected to a TV at all, despite the fact it’s still called a Switch.
Just as leaks revealed in previous weeks, the Switch Lite has a different design than the standard console, featuring built-in controllers rather than the removable Joy-Con controllers of the original. And those accessory leaks were spot on when it comes to the Lite’s design, right down to the button placement.

Samsung is making a cheaper 5G flagship, but it’s not the smaller Galaxy Note 10
The Galaxy Note 10 will come in two sizes, several reports have claimed in the past, and each one will get its own 5G variant. However, all these phones will be pretty expensive at launch, especially the 5G versions. That’s what Samsung did with the Galaxy S10 series this year, whose 5G option is the costliest S10 option in stores right now. More budget-minded buyers can purchase the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G or the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G, but these devices aren’t available in all markets where 5G networks have been turned on. That said, Samsung is also working on a cheaper 5G phone that will be part of the Galaxy A series of mid-range devices. However, this handset will be just as powerful as the Galaxy S10, Note 10, and OnePlus 7, as it’ll run on the same Snapdragon 855 processor that powers 2019 Android flagships.

The new Raspberry Pi 4 board has a serious USB-C charging issue you should know about
The Raspberry Pi 4 board was launched only a few weeks ago, featuring up to 4GB of RAM, support for 4K displays and USB-C connectivity. But buyers only needed a few weeks to discover their brand new mini-computers pack a serious USB-C issue that could render them useless, at least until you figure out what’s wrong. The problem can be fixed with ease, and a future board design should deal with it on a more permanent basis.

NASA’s Voyager twins refuse to die
It’s been almost 42 years since NASA sent its two Voyager spacecraft on record-breaking missions, and both of the decades-old robots are still alive. Voyager 1 and 2 are 13.5 billion and 11.1 billion miles from Earth, respectively, and it’s up to NASA engineers to ensure they remain up and running for as long as possible.
As the agency reveals in a new update, mission managers recently decided to shut down one of the heaters on Voyager 2 which is designed to keep its cosmic ray subsystem (CRS) instrument at a comfortable temperature. This was done to conserve energy, but the CRS itself miraculously still works, despite dipping well below the temperatures it was tested at over four decades ago.
