YouTube Music just got a crazy new feature that Spotify and Apple Music can’t copy
Spotify and Apple Music are the two dominant forces in music streaming at the moment, but they are far from the only options available. One of the other big names in streaming is YouTube Music, and while it may not be able to compete with Apple and Spotify on every front, it does some things those services can’t. For example, this week, the company added a new feature allowing users to seamlessly switch between audio and music videos.
As of Thursday, YouTube Premium and YouTube Music Premium subscribers have the ability to transition between the audio of a song and its music video on the fly without interrupting the song. So now, if you’re ever sitting around watching a music video on your phone and need to head out, you don’t have to start the song over.

New leaked photos show Google’s Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL from every angle
Just yesterday, BGR exclusively revealed several key specs for Google’s upcoming Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL flagship phones. While much is still unknown — or at least unconfirmed — the specs our inside sources were able to reveal prove that Google’s next-generation flagship phones will indeed be the company’s fastest and most powerful phones yet. Beyond precise display resolutions, we revealed that the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL have more RAM than Google has even put in a smartphone before, and there will be plenty of storage as well. What our sources didn’t discuss, however, was Google’s new flagship phone design.
In a bizarre move just over a month ago, Google itself confirmed the design of the back of the Pixel 4 by posting an image of the phone on Twitter. That’s right, Google shared an official image of a smartphone in June that won’t actually be released until October. Leaked renders based on stolen design files had hit the internet a couple of weeks earlier, and Google for some reason felt the need to confirm that the leaked design was accurate. At the time, we posited that since no one is buying the Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL anyway, perhaps there was no harm in confirming that a much better Pixel phone is on the way.
In any case, Google only confirmed the design of the back of its new Pixel 4 lineup, so the front of the phone is still something of a mystery. We’ve read some rumors and seen a few graphic designers take stabs at it though, and now a fresh leak shows Google’s purported Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL from every angle.

New video shows Apple’s design for the upcoming iPhone 11 series
New video shows Apple’s iPhone 11 design
Just two months separate us from the next iPhone launch, but we already have a pretty good idea of what to expect from the iPhone 11 series thanks to a garden variety of leaks. From insiders’ research notes to leaked CAD files and renders based on those leaks, we’ve seen it all. And all these rumors paint the same overall picture. Apple will launch three phones this year, including the iPhone 11, 11 Max, and iPhone 11R, and they’re going to have the same notch design as their predecessor. The only thing that changes it the phones’ rear design, as all of them are getting extra cameras that dictate certain modifications. With two months to go to the iPhone 11’s launch, iPhone 11 dummy units are appearing left and right, further confirming previous rumors.

Google will close a Chrome ‘loophole’ that tells sites you’re browsing incognito
Google is about to improve your internet browsing privacy with the help of a new Chrome update that’s meant to prevent websites from detecting your incognito sessions. The “loophole” fix will roll out at the end of July and will have a significant side-effect, effectively blocking publishers who offer metered paywalls to readers to detect incognito mode. The good thing here is that Google is making this loophole disappear.

Atari founder will debut an intriguing new board game at Comic-Con
Nolan Bushnell’s famous dictum about what makes for a great game is that it should be “easy to learn, difficult to master.”
The Atari co-founder has told me that on more than one occasion, and it’s the mantra he used to turn the retro video game company he once led into a short-lived but beloved 1980s-era powerhouse of entertainment. That guiding philosophy also no doubt underpins St. Noire, an intriguing new board game that uses Amazon’s Alexa assistant and which the Atari founder will be showing off at Comic-Con.

Elon Musk says most cars lack the ‘soul’ that Tesla vehicles boast
As opposed to most CEOs who singularly concern themselves with turning a profit, Elon Musk’s overarching strategy with Tesla was to revolutionize the transportation industry itself and motivate others to embrace electric vehicles.
Hardly a revelation, Musk in his first Master Plan — which was penned all the way back in 2006 — said the following: “The overarching purpose of Tesla Motors (and the reason I am funding the company) is to help expedite the move from a mine-and-burn hydrocarbon economy towards a solar electric economy, which I believe to be the primary, but not exclusive, sustainable solution.”

‘Pokemon Masters’ gameplay trailer gives us our best look yet at real-time battles
While Pokemon Go continues to add new features and refresh old ones to keep people playing, no one would ever mistake the mobile smash hit for a traditional Pokemon title. The same may not be true of Pokemon Masters, which looks like it’s shaping up to be one of the deeper Pokemon games outside of the main series.
As we learned a few weeks ago, Pokemon Masters takes the focus off of catching creatures and puts it on to battling them, as you will team up with other notable trainers from throughout the history of the franchise and rise up through the ranks of the Pokemon Masters League. We got a taste of all those elements in the presentation video that The Pokemon Company shared last month, but a new trailer gives us an even closer look.
