Mosquitoes are a summertime pest that most of us have just learned to deal with. You can treat your lawn and use bug spray, but they’re still going to find a way to annoy you. In some cases, bites from the tiny bugs can lead to more serious consequences than a small itchy bump, and health officials in Florida are warning that a particularly nasty virus has been found in animals in Orange County.

The insects have been found to carry a virus known as Eastern equine encephalitis, or EEE for short. It’s a remarkably deadly infection that, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is fatal in roughly one-third of cases.

Avengers: Endgame is the biggest movie of all time when it comes to revenue, having just surpassed Avatar at the box office to become the highest-grossing film in history. The re-release from a few weeks ago as well as the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home surely helped Marvel make more cash off of its most valuable franchise. And the money will keep coming in now that Endgame approaches its Blu-ray launch. The digital release is only one day away, with Blu-rays set to hit stores two weeks later. That must be great news for fans, because it means we’re about to see a bunch of extra Endgame content, like the following deleted scene that’s so epic it should have been included in the re-release, if not in the original movie.

One of the recurring knocks you keep hearing against Apple is that the iPhone maker keeps doing variations on the same things it’s done before, at least when it comes to hardware. The smartphones, for example, are all variants of the same idea — rectangular slabs of glass, never any adventurous design leaps … yadda, yadda. Say what you will about Samsung, meanwhile, but it’s much harder to criticize the South Korea-based handset manufacturer over boring sameness. Case in point: A newly discovered patent for a smartphone design like nothing you’ve seen before, which probably won’t even be a commercial product and something you can actually buy anytime soon but which nevertheless speaks to a continued spirit of willingness to try bizarre, even outlandish things inside the company.

This time around, Samsung has given us a concept design for a handset that includes three screens — the main screen and then two others that sort of unfold like a fan.
