Tesla’s Model 3 wasn’t exactly lacking for options to unlock and start the car, since you could use the Tesla smartphone app, a keycard, or key fob to do so. Nevertheless, a software engineer who goes by the name of “Amie DD” apparently decided one more option couldn’t hurt. So here’s the ridiculously extreme alternative she came up with — implant the keycard’s RFID tag into her arm to presumably operate the car with nothing but her body.

We say “presumably,” because the video she’s released documenting her extraction of the Model 3 RFID chip and its injection into her arm leaves out one salient point — visible proof of whether it works.

In what remains one of the more baffling marketing strategies employed by any major company, Samsung is once again spamming people who have already spent hundreds of dollars on their products with ads for a new phone. As reported by Android Police, push notifications advertising the just-announced Galaxy Note 10 have been popping up on Galaxy phones ever since the new flagship was unveiled at Unpacked last week.

Based on reports from Galaxy device owners, at least three preinstalled apps have been pushing these notifications: Bixby, Samsung Pay, and Samsung Push Service. Bixby suggests that you ask it about the Note 10, Samsung Pay offers free points for looking at the product page, and Samsung Push Service spams banner ads.

Considering the subject matter, it may not come as much of a surprise, but Amazon’s The Boys seems to have found a rather sizable audience, generating headlines for its dark, twisted take on the superhero phenomenon as well as its penchant for extreme violence, full-frontal nudity and a whole lot of swearing.

It was clear that Amazon was confident in the show when it picked up The Boys for a second season days before the first even debuted on the online retailer’s streaming service. That faith in the show paid off, as Amazon said last week that The Boys is already one of its most-watched original TV series of all time. And now it looks like Amazon wants to capitalize on the show’s momentum and get season two out as quickly as possible.
