The Marvel Cinematic Universe is so huge and interconnected that fans will inevitably find various discrepancies that need to be dealt with. While Apple TV+ has understandably generated the most buzz when it comes to Apple’s upcoming services, it wasn’t the only service that Apple unveiled back in March. The other standout was a game subscription service called Apple Arcade, and although the company hasn’t shared any additional information since the March media event, the first pieces of information appear to have leaked this week, including the monthly price.

According to 9to5Mac, Apple Arcade will cost $4.99 a month after a one-month free trial. The Apple blog managed to get into the early access program for the service, and then happened upon an API within the App Store app featuring a promotional message which showed the $4.99 monthly price.

Officials at a Colorado wildlife refuge are cautiously moving forward with a plan to reopen parts of their facility this week in the wake of a plague outbreak amongst prairie dogs in the area. The Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge was shut down after plague-infected prairie dogs were found weeks ago, and parts of the refuge will remain closed to visitors even as the location reopens its doors to the public.

The refuge, which spans nearly 16,000 acres, is typically open for tourists to come and enjoy the natural splendor, but that changed in late July when park officials decided to lock the doors as they dealt with the plague-ridden animals.

Soon after the dust settled from Comic-Con 2019, it became clear that the fourth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe would have no Avengers, Guardians or Spider-Man sequels. Instead, we’re getting the first Disney+ TV shows that will be integrated into the MCU, a few new heroes, and sequel movies for other franchises. I told you not too long ago that Marvel will definitely make more Avengers movies, but that it first needs some time to allow the new heroes to develop some more. After all, Iron Man, Captain America, and Black Widow were all retired after Endgame.

This brings us to the latest Avengers rumor that tells us Marvel is cooking up what could be a massive Avengers 5 movie. However, we’ll need to wait until Phase 6 or even later to see it. And no, this isn’t the mysterious “big” Disney+ MCU show that Marvel is supposed to announce soon.

Let me make clear, right off the bat, that I intend to sign up for Apple’s new premium TV offering on day one and will give more than one of its shows a try as the company makes its first attempt at grabbing a piece of the streaming TV pie. Unfortunately, the trailer Apple released Monday morning for The Morning Show, one of the presumably strongest titles in its slate of programming based on the strength of the cast alone, doesn’t necessarily have me excited at the prospect of doing so.

Which is not to say I’m turned off, either, at this first footage released from the series that goes behind the scenes at a fictional morning show and stars Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell, and Reese Witherspoon. Watch the trailer above and see what you think — I’m neither hot nor cold about it, I guess is what I’m saying, partly because the trailer seems to be not sure what kind of show it’s teasing.
