Apple releases iOS 12.4.1 with a patch to kill the latest jailbreak
Just days after the shocking release of an iOS 12.4 jailbreak, Apple has rolled out an update for the mobile operating system which seems to patch the vulnerability. As was revealed last week, Apple appeared to have reopened a hole in its security with the release of iOS 12.4, allowing hackers to publicly release a jailbreak for the first time in quite a while. Google’s Project Zero team was the first to report the exploit to Apple.
It’s no surprise that Apple was quick to release an update patching the exploit, as malicious hackers could potentially use the vulnerability for something much more nefarious than a jailbreak. That said, if you didn’t download and install iOS 12.4 when it was available, you’re out of luck when it comes to this jailbreak.

All of the ‘Star Wars’ announcements and trailers from D23 Expo 2019
With all of the Spider-Man drama currently unfolding between Disney and Sony, it’s no surprise that Marvel managed to steal the spotlight for much of Disney’s D23 Expo this past weekend. But another massive franchise also got some attention during the event, as we learned about the future of Star Wars in theaters and on Disney+.
Following the mixed response to The Last Jedi and the relatively tepid reaction to Solo, Disney decided to take a step back and reevaluate its plans for future Star Wars movies. This change of heart was generally well-received, but that doesn’t mean that fans will be lacking in content, as multiple live-action and animated series set in a galaxy far, far away will be debuting and returning on the Disney+ streaming service in the coming months.

‘Spider-Man 3’ plans are already in motion, but Sony and Disney’s fight is far from over
MCU fans have had several days to get used to the idea that Spider-Man is out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the time being, with Sony and Disney having failed to reach a mutually beneficial agreement over the character. Plans for Spider-Man 3 are already underway though, and we’ve already explained why the next Spider-Man sequel should hit theaters before Avengers 5 regardless of whether there will be a new deal between the two giant companies. The fighting isn’t over, apparently, with more and more reports seemingly indicating that Sony is more to blame than Disney for the whole thing.
The Spider-Man saga turned out to be the enormous elephant in the room over the weekend, just as Disney’s huge D23 Expo event got underway, so we heard more official comments on the matter from the key players involved with these films.

After all this time, Samsung’s Galaxy Fold is finally about to be released
The Galaxy Fold was supposed to hit stores on April 26th, but horrible design flaws and quality control issues discovered in the weeks leading up to the launch forced Samsung to delay the phone. The company ultimately decided to cancel the release and went back to the drawing board to fix the severe design issues that were spotted. In the months that followed, Samsung kept teasing that a Galaxy Fold launch announcement was on the way, and we finally received one a few weeks ago. At the time, Samsung explained everything it did to fix the phone, and now it looks like the Galaxy Fold is finally about to be released.

This is when Android 10 will be released to Pixel phones
The final version of Google’s latest Android release would have been available on Pixel hardware by now in previous years, but Android Q is taking a little longer to deploy this year. Google did have a significant Android announcement just a few days ago, revealing that Android will no longer be associated with dessert names starting with Android Q. In fact, forget all about “Q” as fast as possible because this release is officially called Android 10 — by the way, the Android logo also received a massive upgrade. Google would not reveal all these details unless the final Android 10 version was nearly ready for launch, and it turns out that Pixel phones might soon receive the upgrade.
