HBO just announced when its new ‘Watchmen’ TV series will premiere
A few days ago, we learned the official launch date for one of the most anticipated new TV series of the year, Netflix’s The Witcher, but that’s hardly the only hot new show set to premiere this fall. HBO has a couple of brand new creations of its own, including His Dark Materials and Watchmen. The latter will surely sound familiar, especially if you’re a fan of the classic comics that Damon Lindelof has adapted for HBO. And it won’t be long before this new original series debuts on TV and HBO’s streaming services.

Google Maps just got a great new feature – but only on iPhone, not Android
A few days ago, Google brought one of the features that was missing from the desktop Google Maps experience to the mobile versions of the app. That’s Street View support, which can now easily be enabled from the layers button. The feature is only available on Android for the time being though, which is hardly surprising. But Google also brought a handy feature to the iPhone version of Google Maps that doesn’t seem to be available on Android, which is quite strange considering Android is, you know, Google’s own mobile platform.

Replace your giant laptop charger with this tiny Anker charger for $22
If you have a MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, or any one of a number of new Chromebook and Windows 10 laptop models, you probably love how sleek and fast it is. But you probably also hate how big and bulky the included USB-C charging brick is. I know I do! That’s why I ditched mine and picked up an Anker PowerPort Atom PD 1 30W Ultra Compact USB-C Wall Charger instead. It’s barely bigger than an iPhone charger but it’s nice and fast at 30W. It’s also on sale right now for just $21.89!
USB C Charger [GaN Technology], Anker 30W Ultra Compact Type-C Wall Charger with Power Delivery…: $21.89

- High-Speed – Charge iPhone (8/8+/X/XS/XS/Max) up to 50% in just 30 minutes—2. 5× faster than a 5W iPhone stock charger.
- Ultra-compact – 40% smaller than an out-of-the-box MacBook charger; about the size of a golf ball. Takes up minimal space in any pack or pocket.
- Powered by Gann – by swapping out silicon for gallium nitride (Gann), we’ve created a higher efficiency charger that generates less heat, allowing our charging technology to be shrunk smaller than ever.

Samsung will finally release the Galaxy Fold this Friday in at least one major market
2019 was poised to be the year of the foldable smartphone, but serious issues with Galaxy Fold review units forced Samsung to delay the release date from April to September. The first of the month came and went without any news, but on Wednesday, Reuters reported that the Galaxy Fold will go on sale in Samsung’s home country of South Korea on Friday, September 6th. International release dates likely aren’t far behind.
A source from a major mobile carrier in South Korea tells Reuters that the phone will cost 2.4 million won (~$1,990), perhaps indicating that the price drop rumor was off-base. Unsurprisingly, Samsung declined to comment on the story, but if the report is accurate, we’ll know by the end of the week, if not later today.

Amazon still hasn’t fixed the mistake that cuts Anker AA and AAA batteries to ridiculously low prices
If you missed it earlier this week when we told you about accidental deals that slashed Anker’s top-rated AA and AAA batteries to much lower prices than they were supposed to, we have good news: Amazon still hasn’t fixed it! 24-packs of Anker Alkaline AAA Batteries were supposed to drop to $8.99, but a rogue 35% coupon slashes the price all the way down to just $5.84. Meanwhile, 24-packs of Anker Alkaline AA Batteries were going to go on sale for $10.99 according to Anker, but there’s an extra 23% coupon that cuts the price to only $8.46. Again, these deals are both mistakes and it’s likely that they’ll be fixed soon, but Amazon will honor the current discounted prices so grab them while you can!

Huge leak: Apple’s iPhone 11 might’ve just been pictured in the wild for the first time ever
With all the leaks that have spilled out across the internet over the past year, it seems like there can’t possibly be anything left to leak. The first details surrounding Apple’s upcoming new iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max first began to trickle out about 12 months ago, when top Apple insider Ming-Chi Kuo of TF International Securities detailed next-gen iPhones that would sport huge camera upgrades and a new design with frosted glass on the back. As time rolled on, we learned more and more about Apple’s next-generation iPhone lineup until finally, the inevitable happened: Apple’s iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro designs were stolen from the Foxconn factory at which they’ll be manufactured. It happens each and every year, and it leads to a slew of renders that give us a very good idea of what Apple’s new iPhones will look like.
Such was the case this year, though most of the renders and physical mockups we’ve seen are wrong in several key areas. There was one image that came a bit closer to showing us what the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max will actually look like, but now we might have something even better. A huge leak may have just revealed the first-ever photo of an iPhone 11 model in the wild.
