Apple event live stream: Watch Apple unveil the iPhone 11 right here at 1PM ET
Apple will host its annual special event at the Steve Jobs Theater on Tuesday, September 10th at 10 AM PDT / 1 PM EDT to unveil the next generation iPhone. As has been the case over the last few years, there aren’t many surprises left for the event, as leaks and rumors have once again thoroughly spoiled the new iPhone.
We’ll find out for sure during the event, but Apple is expected to reveal three new iPhone models today to replace the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. There has been a great deal of consternation over their names, but on Monday evening, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman predicted that Apple will call the three phones iPhone 11, iPhone Pro, and iPhone Pro Max. This could be the beginning of a whole new naming scheme.

Marvel’s next ‘Avengers’ project is already in the works, but it’s not what you’d expect
Marvel needed two separate events to announce everything coming to the MCU now that Avengers: Endgame is behind us: San Diego Comic-Con and the annual D23 Expo. The company revealed that it has several pictures in the works that will hit theaters over the next two years, as well as several limited MCU series that will stream on the upcoming Disney+ service. None of the upcoming adventures will be part of the popular Marvel properties we’ve grown to love in recent years, such as Avengers, Guardians and Spider-Man — the latter isn’t even in the MCU anymore. While the third installment in the Guardians franchise is already in the works, Marvel hasn’t said anything about its Avengers 5 sequel.
We’ve already told you that Marvel can’t just abandon the Avengers considering how lucrative this particular property is, and we’ll probably get a new Avengers sequel down the road once some of the new heroes have been introduced. A new report now tells us that Marvel is indeed working on a new Avengers project, but it’s not going to be what you think.

Scientists built artificial leaves that can turn sunlight into medicine
Our Sun is an incredible, abundant source of energy that we’re only just now beginning to learn how to tap. Plants, on the other hand, are masters at exploiting the free energy delivered from the sky, so it’s only natural that scientists look to them for inspiration.
Now, an ongoing effort from researchers with the Eindhoven University of Technology has yielded a promising new type of artificial leaf. Like actual foliage, the faux leaves take in sunlight and use it to create something entirely new, only instead of generating fuel for a living plant, these “mini-reactors” can produce medicine for humans.
