Is there a black hole hiding right here in our solar system?
Way out on the edge of our solar system something big is lurking that has yet to be identified. Astronomers know it’s there because they can see the way other objects are affected by its gravitational pull, but nobody’s been able to actually determine what it is.
There’s plenty of theories, including a planet — the elusive Planet Nine — or even a collection of smaller worlds or large asteroids that have grouped up. Now, a new theory is emerging, and it may be the wildest one yet. In a new research paper, scientists argue that an ancient black hole might be hiding out right here in our own solar system.

Netflix tests free episodes for non-subscribers as Disney+ launch nears
In just over a month, both Disney+ and Apple TV+ will be widely available, representing the latest serious threats to Netflix’s dominance of the streaming video market. But despite the increased competition, Netflix hasn’t really done much to counter its incoming rivals, but that appears to be changing as the streaming service has begun testing a new feature that is clearly geared toward consumers who have yet to subscribe.
For a limited time, anyone can watch the pilot of the original series Bard of Blood on Netflix for free. This comes just weeks after Netflix introduced a $3 per month mobile-only plan in India, and serves the dual purpose of attracting an international audience and drawing in consumers who have yet to subscribe to Netflix.

A Tesla driving itself with Smart Summon got into an accident after less than a day, and it was caught on camera
With Elon Musk often saying that Tesla vehicles are the only cars that get better after they leave the lot, Tesla a few days ago rolled out a software update with a ton of new and intriguing features. Indeed, Tesla in a blog post boasts that Software Version 10.0 represents the biggest software update the company has ever released.
While many of the new features seem to be entertainment-oriented — with new Karaoke and Arcade modes being two prime examples — the software update also includes a Smart Summon feature. As the name implies, Smart Summon enables Tesla owners to summon their vehicles in parking lots. In short, instead of walking to your car, Smart Summon will have your car drive to you.

Apple just released iOS 13.1.2 to fix even more iPhone bugs
We probably should be surprised anymore at this point since Apple apparently releases new software updates every single day, but the company on Monday released a new update for the iPhone. iOS 13.1.2 comes just one business day after iOS 13.1.1, which was released on Friday. It includes even more bug fixes like minor fixes for the camera app, iCloud backup, and more. None of the bugs that were fixed seem particularly urgent so we’re not sure why Apple had to release iOS 13.1.2 so soon after the last update, but it’s out and it has improvements so you might as well download it.

Netflix confirms ‘Stranger Things 4’ and releases a creepy new teaser trailer
There was little doubt that Netflix would bring back its hit show Stranger Things for at least one more season, but we finally got official confirmation of the show’s return this Monday. As reported by Variety, Stranger Things creators and showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer have signed a multi-year overall deal with Netflix which will see them create films and shows for the service. Simultaneously, Netflix renewed Stranger Things for a fourth season.
The Duffer brothers have said on more than one occasion that Stranger Things was only set up to last about four or five seasons, so even if this is the last go-round for the families of Hawkins and the otherworldly creatures they have to contend with, the Duffers will still be creating content for Netflix for years to come.
