Hoping the hero who died first in ‘Endgame’ might be back for ‘Avengers 5’? We have some bad news
One of the great things about the Avengers: Endgame plot is that it forces the audience to deal with all the adverse effects that come with surviving the snap that wiped up half of life in the universe at the end of Infinity War. There’s no magical recipe that can help the Avengers undo what Thanos did without heartbreaking repercussions, and the story doesn’t necessarily have a guaranteed happy ending. The fact that you have to accept actual loss, whether it’s the heroes who sacrificed their lives to beat Thanos or the realization that the universe went through a rather dark five years, is what makes everything so satisfying.
But not all Endgame fans were happy to see some of their favorite characters die, especially Iron Man and Black Widow. Original Gamora, Loki, Vision, and Heimdall can also be added to the list, although it’s Tony and Nat we’ll miss the most. While some people have been hoping that Marvel will somehow bring them back down the road, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen — and now we have a pretty convincing statement from one of the characters who died to support that notion.

The Pixel 4 was just released today and it already has major issues that need to be fixed
Google has been developing its own phones for a decade now, although it started taking things more seriously when it pivoted from affordable Nexus phones to premium Pixels. These high-end devices are supposed to offer buyers the purest taste of Google’s next-gen mobile operating system, and showcase what a high-end Android has to offer compared to the latest iPhones. But Google is far from perfecting its smartphone-making skills and the Pixel 4 is no different from its predecessors.
Google is now once again forced to repair its latest phone via software updates, just as it has had to do shortly after the release of every other Pixel phone. Other smartphone makers have had issues with brand new flagship handsets as well, of course. The iPhone’s Antennagate and Bendgate issues, as well as Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 fires and the Galaxy Fold fumble, come to mind. But no other phone maker has had to issue quick, important fixes for every single phone it has ever launched, so this is a tradition Google undoubtedly hopes will come to an end this year.

Netflix will debut 73 new original movies and shows in November 2019 – here’s the full list
If you were wondering whether or not Netflix would slink away into the shadows next month as Disney+ finally launches, you just got your answer: no way. Disney+ is indeed set to be a huge force in the streaming media space, but Netflix is still the king and it’s going to remind us of that next month when it debuts a whopping 73 new original movies, shows, documentaries, and specials. It’s the busiest month of the year so far for new Netflix originals, and we sincerely doubt that’s a coincidence.
As for what’s on the scheduled, well, it’s difficult to know where to begin so we’ll just pick things up on November 1st. Netflix will release 12 new originals on that day alone, including season 3 of Atypical, a new Queer Eye special, and the hotly anticipated racially charged drama American Son. Things only pick up steam from there, with a Seth Myers standup special, The End of the F***ing World season 2, a new season of The Great British Baking Show, new installments of Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, and a new season of the critically acclaimed drama The Crown. Of course, the biggest premiere coming to Netflix next month takes place on November 27th, when Martin Scorsese’s new Netflix original movie The Irishman makes its debut. It stars Robert Dinero, Al Pacino, and Joe Pesci, and it’s bound to be one of the most widely streamed Netflix originals of all time.
Of course, October isn’t over just yet and Netflix is releasing a whopping 67 new original movies and shows over the course of this month. Wondering if you missed anything? You’ll find the full release schedule right here. You should also be sure to check out all the third-party content coming and going on Netflix in November.

Conor McGregor un-retires, announces UFC comeback
Conor McGregor hasn’t fought in a UFC match in over a year. His last professional bout, which took place on October 6th of last year, ended in defeat at the hands of Khabib Nurmagomedov. In the months since that fateful bout, he’s retired from the sport (for the second time) and taken to beating up old men in bars to get his kicks.
Time being the flat circle that it is, you had to know that a second retirement wouldn’t actually be the end of McGregor’s professional MMA career. At a press conference in Moscow earlier today, McGregor announced that he’s once again returning to the octagon, and his next fight will take place on January 18th, 2020.

Netflix’s $4 mobile-only plan is finally spreading to new markets
As the streaming video service market becomes more and more crowded, companies have to find ways to stand out from the crowd, even if they already have an established user base. This is true for Netflix as well, as two lower-cost streaming services from Disney and Apple are set to launch in the coming weeks. In the meantime, Netflix actually raised its prices earlier this year, bringing the monthly cost of its standard plan up to $12.99.
One way that Netflix expanded its reach in India was by introducing a mobile-only plan for $4, and although we don’t know when or if the plan will ever come stateside, Netflix introduced a mobile-only plan in Malaysia on Thursday that matches the one it brought to India over the summer. This is only the second region to see the plan.
