A deer hunter was killed by the deer he was hunting
Thanks to modern firearms, game animals like deer are really no match for human hunters. Still, every once in a while Mother Nature fights back, and instances of deer attacking the hunters who are hunting them are common enough that hunters know not to approach wounded animals before ensuring they have been incapacitated.
One hunter in Arkansas recently experienced a worst-case scenario when hunting deer with a muzzleloader, finding himself on the wrong end of a confrontation with the deer he had already shot. The man, 66-year-old Thomas Alexander, was hunting alone when the wounded deer attacked.

10 movies and shows to watch on Netflix before they’re removed in November
This is the second month in a row that I have struggled to choose ten movies and shows leaving Netflix that are actually worth watching, which is a good sign for subscribers. It means that most of the good content is staying put, and with two high-profile streaming services launching in November, Netflix couldn’t really afford to lose a bunch of great content anyway. That said, there are still a few departures you should add to your queue.
If you haven’t seen Coco, I’m imploring you to put it at the top of your list. It may be the best movie Pixar has released this decade, and you can watch it with the whole family during Thanksgiving. Netflix subscribers will also be losing the latter two Lord of the Rings movies, so prepare for a marathon sometime soon.

Man’s bizarre condition causes his stomach to brew its own alcohol
When a 46-year-old man was pulled over for suspected drunk driving, officers figured it would be an open-and-shut case. A test revealed a blood alcohol level of 0.2, well past the legal limit, and the man’s claims that he didn’t ingest even a drop of alcohol seemed like a poor excuse. As it turns out, he was telling the truth.
The man’s unusual condition, called auto-brewery syndrome, causes his stomach to produce its own alcohol. The case was described in a new report which explains that an extended regimen of antibiotics was likely responsible for a dramatic shift in the many’s stomach chemistry.

Apple TV+ launches one week from today – here’s what you need to know
After months of interest and curiosity, along with reports of production budgets that have stretched into the tens of millions of dollars, Apple is set to finally enter new business territory that couldn’t be more different from the sleek gadgets the iPhone maker is known for. Apple TV+, the company’s streaming video service that will fight for a bit of the same ground as Netflix, is set to launch one week from today (on November 1).
Getting here has involved lots of dealmaking behind the scenes, to both finagle participation from Hollywood talent and executives and to build up a launch-day slate of splashy TV series. All that remains now is convincing users to fork over $4.99/month to pay for the service, which you’ll use Apple’s existing Apple TV app to watch. To help make that determination, the following is meant to serve as a guide and offer some of the major details you need to know.
