Apple TV+ and Disney+ might be launching this month, but if you aren’t looking to add a new monthly subscription to your credit card, there’s still plenty to watch on trusty old Netflix in November as well. The November lineup includes Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, which might be the most anticipated Netflix original movie since the service began producing original movies. On November 27th, we’ll see if it lives up to the hype.

Other originals include The King (starring Timothée Chalamet), the surprise second season of The End of the F***ing World, the third season of The Crown, and a comedy special from Mike Birbiglia that received rave reviews when it ran on Broadway. If the original movies pan out, this could be a big month for Netflix.

The second of the two major game announcements at BlizzCon 2019 was another yet highly-anticipated sequel that had leaked in the days ahead of the show. Overwatch 2 is real, and in addition to building upon the story of the wildly popular first game, the sequel will also add new ways to play that the first game was missing.

Even if you aren’t a fan of the series, I highly recommend watching the cinematic at the top of this post. If Blizzard got into the business of making animated movies, I don’t think anyone would be upset.

Although the reveal of a new Diablo game at Blizzard’s annual convention was basically inevitable, a series of leaks leading up to the event made it clear that we would get our first look at the long-awaited sequel on Friday. And indeed we did, as Blizzard officially announced Diablo IV at BlizzCon 2019, giving fans of the decades-old franchise a taste of the sequel’s story, as well as an early look at the gameplay and grittier art style.

In the cinematic trailer that Blizzard shared on Friday (which you can watch at the top of this post), you can get a taste of just how seriously Diablo IV is taking itself, which should be a welcome change of pace for those who didn’t like the cartoon-y art style of Diablo III. This time, Blizzard is going back to its roots.

Nobody wants the flu. Coming down with the seasonal illness means several days of aches, pains, congestion, and fever, so it’s best to avoid it if at all possible. But what if getting sick paid the bills? Scientists from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases are asking for 80 volunteers who wouldn’t mind struggling through an uncomfortable illness, and they’re paying handsomely for it.

The researchers are offering an award of $3,300 per person, and they intend to infect the volunteers with the particularly nasty strain of flu known as H1N1. It’s a virus that caused a pandemic just a decade ago, so scientists want a better understanding of how the disease spreads. To do that, they need sick people.
