People, you really ought to read an app’s permissions before you download it. Reddit’s Android community has flagged an obvious scam app called Subway Train Game in the Google Play store that has been installed more than 1 million times in less than a month.

These portable battery packs will fix all your power issues
There are plenty of interesting external battery packs that are ready to charge smartphones, tablets and other devices via USB, but all of them are limited to providing additional power to mobile devices only. ChargeAll, a new Indiegogo project, aims to fix all that, as this new external power pack comes with support for laptops and other electronics that require up to 85W of power.

My 5 most anticipated games of 2015 after E3 this year
2015 is going to be the year that all the potential of next-gen finally comes to fruition. With an extensive amount of development behind them, both major developers and indie studios alike will have the experience necessary to start taking advantage of the power within the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. We can see glimmers of what this generation will be in some recent releases such as Watch Dogs and Titanfall, but we’ve only scratched the surface. In 2015, we’ll have arrived.

Legere rips Amazon with brutal ‘Facebook phone’ comparison
If you don’t understand why Amazon is releasing its first smartphone as an exclusive device for AT&T, you aren’t alone. T-Mobile CEO John Legere took to Twitter on Tuesday to bash Amazon for its reported decision to go with AT&T as its exclusive carrier for the new smartphone it will unveil on Wednesday.

Here’s all the exclusive content Destiny players will receive on PS4
As revealed during Sony’s E3 press conference last week, Destiny is going to be chock full of exclusive content for PS4 and PS3 owners at launch. PlayStation VP Adam Boyes didn’t have enough time to share every detail during the show though, so social media manager Sid Shuman has taken to the PlayStation Blog to outline all of the PlayStation exclusives.

There’s a very good reason Apple has taken so long to release an iWatch
We’ve been hearing reports of Apple developing an iWatch for years now but the company still hasn’t released it yet and probably won’t until this coming fall. Why the delay? An Economic Daily News report flagged by G for Games lets us know: It’s because Apple doesn’t want to release a smartwatch until it’s sure that it will have the best battery power of any wearable computer around.

Time Warner Cable can’t even handle the most basic Internet service: Delivering emails
It’s not unusual for email services to occasionally go down. But to have them go down for days on end without any official estimate of when they’ll be working again? That can only happen through the magic of Time Warner Cable. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that customers who use TWC’s Road Runner webmail service have had problems sending and receiving messages in a timely manner for days on end and TWC isn’t offering any updates on when it will be fixed except to say, “we… continue to make this a top priority.”

BREAKING: iOS 8 beta 2 now available for download
Apple released its first iOS 8 beta on June 2nd and anyone who has installed it since then knows it’s a bit rough around the edges. Of course, this is entirely expected — Apple’s early iOS betas are always riddled with issues that Apple fixes in the months leading up to its public release. Though tens of thousands of non-developers install the software on their personal devices each year, it is intended only for developers so they can update their apps and build new ones ahead of iOS 8’s release this fall. They also help Apple identify bugs, of course, and their feedback has been put to use in iOS 8 beta 2, which is now available to download.
