A wobbly, but ultimately effective transition for the series

Playing Hyrule Warriors is like playing with action figures — it’s not a great representation of how a war in the world of The Legend of Zelda would actually play out, but with a little imagination, everything comes to life. Hyrule Warriors is a bit of a mess, but once you become acclimated to the oft-repeated gameplay loop, there’s plenty of fun to be had.

Fleksy, the fastest keyboard in the world, on Wednesday announced that its iOS 8 keyboard app is ready and waiting in the App Store to be discovered by users who upgrade their iPhones, iPads and iPod touch units to Apple’s latest operating system, also due for release on September 17. Starting with iOS 8, Apple will finally support third-party keyboard apps, a first for the OS, so it’s not surprising to see Fleksy already launch its popular smart keyboard, especially considering that the company does have a notes app in the App Store that also uses the same keyboard technology.

Foxconn has more than 200,000 factory workers in a single location at its plant in Zhengzhou, China, and each and every one is doing nothing but work on building the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The world’s top device manufacturer is working so hard that it is churning out nearly 550,000 new iPhone handsets each and every day… and yet it still can’t manage to keep up with stunning demand for Apple’s new, larger iPhones.

T-Mobile CellSpot review: Another game-changer from the Un-carrier

%name Articles of Interest by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

What if, with a comparatively minuscule investment, a wireless carrier could increase its network coverage dramatically without building a single new cell tower or working out any new licensing deals? It might sound impossible, but T-Mobile did exactly that last week when it announced plans to “unleash” Wi-Fi.

The company’s “Un-carrier 7.0” event was quite entertaining, as all events led by T-Mobile CEO John Legere are. But this is about much more than entertainment. In an industry dominated by risk-averse giants that are perceived as anything but consumer friendly, T-Mobile is forcing change that, for the most part, benefits subscribers as much as it benefits the company’s bottom line.

And T-Mobile’s latest big Un-carrier move fits that mold perfectly.

One of the most important features of iOS 8 is app extensions, a new Apple software trick that will let apps talk to each other, thus enabling new app features and user experiences. Apple CEO Tim Cook promised in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that iCloud security will be increased soon, to prevent future leaks similar to the celebrities’ nudes scandal that preceded the iPhone 6 event. And, while the company failed to address iCloud security during its September 9th keynote, Apple has already rolled out two iCloud features including two-factor authentication, email notifications and app-specific passwords for iCloud assets.
