Major new details emerge about Apple’s completely redesigned 12-inch iPad
We’re finally starting to get a steady stream of leaks about Apple’s fall lineup of products, thanks once again to 9to5Mac’s Mark Gurman. It seems that Apple is actually working on two different 12-inch iPad models that are now codenamed “J98” and “J99.” However, Gurman says that both devices aren’t yet far along enough to nail down a concrete release date because Apple is still working on their software and apparently hasn’t lined up sufficient hardware components to produce the device at the appropriate scale.

There’s a new BBM for iOS feature that will actually make iMessage users jealous
True story: a little over a year ago, a friend of mine asked me to help him pick out an Android phone because he was tired of his iPhone. For a few hours spread out over the course of a week, we chatted off and on about what he didn’t like about the iPhone and what he was looking for in a new phone. “I can’t live life as a green bubble,” he told me.
There is indeed something addictive about those little blue bubbles. But truth be told, iMessage is hardly a full-featured messaging platform. Its feature set is barebones at best, and now there’s a new feature in the BBM for iOS beta app that iMessage users will be jealous of.
