Tests claim HTC One M9’s camera is worse than three-year-old iPhone 4S, Galaxy S III
The HTC One M9 is already looking like a disaster for HTC, which was seemingly caught off guard by all the major improvements that Samsung made with its Galaxy S6 line of smartphones. One of the biggest disappointments with the One M9 has been its camera, which reviewers have claimed is still miles behind flagship devices such as the iPhone 6, the Galaxy S6 and the LG G4. However, Forbes points us to a new study from the imaging experts at DxOMark showing that the One M9’s camera doesn’t even match the cameras of flagship phones released more than three years ago.

It will soon be impossible for BlackBerry to lose more market share
BlackBerry CEO John Chen recently offered some very good reasons for BlackBerry to keep making new phones, although he acknowledged at this point that he’s making them for a tiny audience. How tiny are we talking about? The latest numbers from Gartner show that BlackBerry is somehow still losing market share in the smartphone wars despite the fact that its overall share of the market has been well below 1% for the past year.

The answer will appear listed directly in the autocomplete dropdown options just like search suggestions do, The Next Web reports. Not surprisingly, an increasingly important part of Google’s advertising machine is mobile search. In 2014 alone, 18% of Google’s ad revenue, or about $11.8 billion, came from searches done on mobile devices.

Finally: Annoying Yosemite Wi-Fi bug is squashed
Many Mac users have complained about Wi-Fi issues since installing OS X Yosemite last fall, and Apple issued fixes in maintenance updates supposed to patch the wireless connectivity problems. In spite of those fixes, the problem persisted even after it became increasingly clear what Yosemite component was causing connection drops, and Apple did not publicly address the matter. However, Apple seems to be aware of the problem, and has finally fixed it in its newest Yosemite beta.

If there’s one advantage Apple didn’t have when it released the iPhone, it was a head start.
