Watch the ultimate drop test: Galaxy S6 launched to the edge of space
We’ve seen all kinds of goofy torture tests for the Galaxy S6 this year but this one takes the cake for pure ambition. The team at accessories manufacturer Slickwraps, Inc. mounted the Galaxy S6 onto a box that was attached to a high-altitude balloon and launched it into the stratosphere. While up there, Slickwraps estimates that it faced “temperatures as low as -65°F (-54°C), and a maximum altitude of 122,264 feet.”

NYT: No new Apple TV hardware at WWDC 2015
The list of things to get excited about during Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference next week appears to be shrinking by the day. In a report on Wednesday, The New York Times revealed that Apple has been forced to postpone its plans to introduce new Apple TV hardware and a toolkit for app developers to go along with it.

Microsoft reveals the first killer Windows 10 hardware
Ever since Windows 10 was announced early last year, Microsoft’s focus has shifted heavily toward the software side of its business. Watch Stephen Colbert lose his beard for the first Late Show preview
The transition from Letterman to Colbert is going to be weird for many reasons, not least of which is the fact that Colbert’s Late Show doesn’t start until Tuesday, September 8th.
