That said, you shouldn’t need to rely on Apple, Google or other companies to hook up your home — instead, you may be able to use an “Internet of things” development platform that’s being crafted by a Finnish startup called Thingsee that aims to make programming web-connected appliances and devices easy and intuitive.

Etsy Bans Sales of Spells and Hexes, and Witches are Not Happy About it
Hipster Wiccans who are hoping to pick up hexes to cast on annoying coworkers from Etsy are now out of luck. The Daily Dot brings us word that online crafts shop Etsy has barred people from selling spells, hexes and other supernatural items that offer no tangible benefits. Many witches are not happy about this development, however, and are claiming that Etsy is doing them grave economic harm by banning the sale of their particular crafts.

‘Star Wars Battlefront’ Isn’t the Reboot I Was Looking For
Of all the games we knew about before E3 2015 kicked off this week, Star Wars Battlefront might have had the highest profile. Few other games have the pedigree and history of the Battlefront series, fading away before its time with an ambitious third entry canceled before Pandemic Studios could ship it.
After years of silence, Battlefield developer DICE decided to take up the mantle and reboot the series itself. It was one of the biggest reveals of E3 2013, and two years later, I’ve finally had a chance to play it.
