Over the past several months, hoverboards have inexplicably become a regular topic of conversation. It started with a Back to the Future-inspired prank from Tony Hawk early last year. Before long, a Kickstarter for a real hoverboard started making the rounds and now, over a year after the original prank video, Lexus is building its own rideable hoverboard.

The ‘Internet Health Test’ Works: TWC, Verizon and More Accused of Slowing Data Speeds
Remember back in late May when we told you about the Internet Health Test? The simple test analyzed users’ Internet connections from end to end, and it aimed to determine whether or not Internet service providers might be violating the Federal Communication Commission’s new net neutrality rules by intentionally slowing data connections.
This week, the group behind the Internet Health Test has released the results of a study that analyzed tests performed by more than 300,000 Internet users, and it appears as though the test has served its purpose: Five major ISPs in the United States have been accused of deliberately slowing data from popular websites in dozens of cities across the country.

World’s Largest Pizza Is A Mile Long And Weighs 5 Tons
Pizza makers at the Milan World Fair in Italy recently set a new Guiness World Record by baking a pizza that’s nearly one mile long. Specifically, the award-winning pizza measured in at 1.59545 kilometers, which comes out to about .99 of a mile.

Legendary Nintendo Designer Explains Why the Wii U Flopped So Hard
Yes, it’s fair to say that the Wii U has been a disaster for Nintendo, which has seen its newest console get badly outsold by both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, thus forcing it to enter the realm of smartphone games for the first time to generate much needed extra revenue. Legendary game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, who was the creative mind behind both the Mario and Zelda franchises, tells NPR that people stayed away from the Wii U because they flat-out didn’t understand what they were supposed to do with it.

Despite Photographer’s Charges, It Looks Like Taylor Swift isn’t a Hypocrite for Shaming Apple Music
Taylor Swift beat Apple over the weekend by convincing the giant corporation to change its tune on paying royalties to artists during users’ free three-month trial period. But this opened up Swift to charges of hypocrisy from a photographer who claimed that her photography contracts made it almost impossible to get paid for taking pictures at her concerts. Unlike Swift’s powerful letter though, the photographer’s request wasn’t as successful.
