A new report from South Korea says that Samsung has indeed moved forward the Galaxy Note 5 announcement and launch dates on account of the iPhone 6s threat. iPhone 6 triggers record number of Android switchers
iPhone sales during Apple’s most recent quarter skyrocketed 35% year over year, an impressive figure attributable, in part, to a record number of Android switchers opting to see what life is like within the confines of the iOS ecosystem.
News of the uptick in Android to iPhone migration was relayed by Tim Cook who, during Apple’s earnings conference call yesterday, said that Apple over the last three months saw the “highest switcher rate from Android that we’ve ever measured.” Cook seemed genuinely pleased with the data point, making a point of mentioning it two other times during the call.

Sorry, haters – Tim Cook confirms Apple Watch sales are much better than you think
Hopefully we can put the rampant speculation regarding the Apple Watch’s untimely demise to rest, at least for the time being. What’s more, Cook also added that demand for the Apple Watch still continues to outpace supply. But what should really nullify recent reports which claim that Apple Watch sales have ground to a fault is that sales of Apple’s new wearable are actually increasing, contrary to some recent third-party reports we’ve seen.

Are we about to see a kinder, gentler Islamic State? Probably not but it seems the ruthless terrorist organization has decided that publishing videos of its members beheading civilians might be a little too damaging to its reputation. Arabic language publication All4Syria.info reported recently that ISIS has ordered its members to stop filming and posting beheading videos online because many Muslims find the scenes “disgusting” and because many children also find them scary. You don’t say!
