Windows 10 privacy issues you should be aware of
Windows 10 is finally here, and though not shrouded in the same type of pomp and circumstance that surrounded the launch of, say, Windows 95, it’s still a significant update worth checking out. Not only is Windows 10 available as a free update to Windows 7 and Windows 8 users, but the new OS from Microsoft comes with a bevy of interesting new features that are certainly worth exploring.
At the same time, and as with any new OS release, there are a few wrinkles to be ironed out and new privacy issues worth noting. While most of the privacy issues associated with Windows 10 can be alleviated with a simple adjustment of one’s settings, there are still a few issues worth highlighting before you start using Windows 10 as your everyday OS.

This new Google feature lets you avoid crowds at your favorite stores
Google can get away with being creepy in many cases because it’s just so useful. Case in point: Google this week unveiled a new search feature that will let you know whether the store or restaurant you want to visit is likely to be crowded at a given time and can even break down a place’s popularity on different days of the week. How does Google know all this about individual locations? We have no idea, but this is nonetheless an extremely useful new feature.

The dentist who killed Cecil the Lion is getting spammed with hilarious Yelp reviews
In case you missed it, a dentist from Minnesota has generated an unfathomable amount of criticism after it was revealed that he flew to Zimbabwe and spent $55,000 to kill a lion. While the dentist in question, one Walter Palmer, claims that he went about the killing legally — which is to say his tour guides secured the proper permits — it turns out that the lion he shot was a beloved beast named Cecil. It’s also been suggested that the permits secured may not have been above board. What’s more, Palmer has also been criticized for luring Cecil off of a wildlife preserve with the smell of a dead carcass, a practice that is largely illegal even in areas where big game hunting is allowed.
When word of Cecil’s killing spread, Palmer was expectedly the target of the Internet’s collective wrath. Even Jimmy Kimmel chimed in on the story during his Tuesday night broadcast. Also targeted in the wake of Cecil’s killing was Palmer’s dentistry practice where users have taken to Yelp and have bombarded the site with negative, and at times, hilarious reviews.
Below are a few of the funnier ones we’ve seen.
