Google hid an awesome Easter egg in its Alphabet announcement – here’s how to find it
Say what you will about Google, but the company knows how to have some fun. Nerdy fun, but fun nonetheless. Once, when bidding for a slew of Nortel patents, Google put in a bid using the digits of pi, offering up $3.1415 billion.
So it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that Google’s out-of-left-field announcement that it would be restructuring itself under a new parent company called Alphabet contained a cleverly placed and well-hidden easter egg.

A third new iPhone might be launching with the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus
Many reports detailed a third iPhone 6s family member that would sport a 4-inch display and hardware components that would be at least on par with what the iPhone 6 has to offer, if not better. Often called the iPhone 6c, the device would provide buyers looking for smaller iPhones the same high-end experience as the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch models and the same build quality. However, not all reports agree as to when Apple will launch the handset, with a leaker saying the iPhone 6c might be launched a lot sooner than you think.

iPhone 6s might be critical for the bottom line of Apple’s main rival
Apple’s iPhone is one of the best sold mobile devices in the world, and smartphone parts makers are eager to win orders for Apple’s next-gen devices. The iPhone 6s is no different than its predecessors in that regard. Expected to set new sales records for the company, the iPhone 6s family is going to launch in mid-September, with Apple already prepping mass-production for the device. In fact, a new report suggests that suppliers are so eager to please Apple that they’d be willing to offer special treatment to the company.

Minority Report, Lucifer and Blindspot pilots leak weeks before their debuts
After weeks of rolling our eyes, we’re finally done hate-watching True Detective, but sadly, that leaves us with one less show to fill our DVRs with every week. Astronauts are finally eating vegetables grown in outer space
NASA announced a few days ago that astronauts on the International Space Station will for the first time get a taste of lettuce that wasn’t grown on Earth. The Expedition 44 crew this week will eat fresh red romaine lettuce that was grown on the ISS.

Smugglers have a storied history when it comes to crafting clever and ingenious ways to conceal drugs and sneak them across ostensibly secure borders. Back in the early ’90s, cartels out of Columbia were the first to add a layer of technical sophistication to their drug smuggling activities when they began manufacturing small submarines designed to transport cocaine across International waters while avoiding detection. Since then, the technical capabilities of what are often referred to as narco-submarines have only increased. Some rigs have elaborate communications systems built-in and can sometimes cost upwards of $1 million to construct.
