Galaxy S6 edge+ preview: A unique phablet that still manages to copy Apple
The Galaxy S6 edge is a curious phone. Some people don’t understand why Samsung even released the handset to begin with, so I did my best to explain it in a recent article. Long story short, the S6 edge offers differentiation in a market full of boring phone designs that look nearly identical. Samsung also enjoys wider margins with the edge, which is crucial since Samsung’s smartphone margins are quite low.
According to Samsung, demand for the Galaxy S6 edge was so strong that the company couldn’t even build the phone fast enough to keep up with demand. Curiously, however, the company dropped prices on the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge right after it made that claim.

LIVE COVERAGE: Watch live streaming video from Samsung’s big Galaxy Note 5 event
It’s not exactly a secret at this point: Samsung is about to unveil its brand new Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ phablets. The company went back to the drawing board with its Galaxy S lineup earlier this year and designed the Galaxy S6 from scratch. Well, OK, so maybe it had a little inspiration. But the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge marked the first time Samsung launched phones with sleek designs and premium materials to match their class-leading displays and killer performance.

Windows 10 might be spying on you even after you tell it to stop
One of the main concerns with Microsoft’s Windows 10 platform concerns privacy. The operating system has various features that need to access your private data to work properly. At the same time, Microsoft wants to deliver you better Bing search results and ads. In its defense, the company makes it clear in its terms of service that it’s tracking you, and there are ways to stop all the tracking without compromising your Windows 10 experience. But what if the privacy-infringing settings you thought you just turned off aren’t off?
