Scary iPhone malware can spy on you even after you close infected apps
A rather scary piece of iPhone malware would let an attacker spy on a target using an approved App Store app without the person’s knowledge. In fact, the malware app could continue to gather data for the hackers — or for a spy agency — even after the infected app is closed by the user. Apple apparently fixed this huge vulnerability beginning with iOS 8.4.1, but earlier iOS builds are still affected.

Cops in North Dakota can now arm Drones with tasers and tear gas
The idea of weaponized drones might sound like something you’d see in a sci-fi movie, but you might end up seeing it in the real world before you know it. Following the passage of a new bill in North Dakota, police in that state now have the green light to launch and use drones armed with a variety of non-lethal weapons, including rubber bullets, tear gas, pepper spray, and tasers.

This map shows your state’s most embarrassing Google searches (you HAVE to see this)
Every state in the U.S. has its own unique culture, which also means it has its own unique Google searches. Real estate search site Estately recently dove into Google search data and came up with some common search items in each state that it deemed embarrassing. As you can see in the map above, people in Massachusetts have been searching a lot for “deflated balls” recently thanks to the alleged antics of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, while people in Tennessee seem to really want to know whether Bigfoot is real.
