New leak may reveal the 2015 Nexus 5’s official release date
Android fans have been patiently waiting for Google to release a followup to 2013’s Nexus 5, which has become one of the most beloved Android phones ever made. A new report claims that Google is finally going to fulfill their wishes by launching a proper Nexus 5 successor just over a month from now, presumably to coincide with the official launch of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Only a few months after shipping its first wearable, Apple is now the leader in the emerging global smart wearables market and within striking distance of the overall wearables market front runner.
Market researcher IDC released wearables market share numbers for the second quarter on Thursday and Apple, in typical fashion, is already the 800-pound gorilla in the room.

Boeing’s incredible drone-killing laser cannon can destroy UAVs mid-flight
Drones are everywhere these days. They’re at your local park, they’re in the ocean, they’re hovering over the White House lawn, and they may even be hovering overhead armed with tear gas.
In a world that’s becoming increasingly drone friendly, there are some serious safety considerations that shouldn’t be ignored. Specifically, government and military officials have cautioned that drones might soon be outfitted with explosives or chemical weapons and flown into either public or sensitive spaces.
With that in mind, Boeing recently developed a portable laser cannon that can eviscerate unwanted and pesky drones mid-flight. In the future, these types of lasers might be installed in all sorts of locations, including airports and sensitive military installations.

It can be difficult to separate the successes of Windows 10 from its failures in regards to user privacy, but the latest operating system from Microsoft is one of its best yet. I’m constantly surprised by how few issues I’ve run into since upgrading to Windows 10, but despite its relative stability, there are still a few things I’d change if I had the ability to do so.

The next-gen Apple TV could be the most exciting product Apple has released in years
I’ll admit that I haven’t been all that hot about Apple’s two newest products. Let’s start with the Apple Watch: I have never had less interest in an Apple product in my entire life than I have in the Apple Watch. And as for Apple Music, I simply don’t see the point of it when Spotify already does everything it does, but better. The new Apple TV set-top box that Apple will reportedly unveil next month, however, has me very intrigued.
