With Apple Watch availability, functionality, and style options all poised to explode at the same time, there’s a good chance that Apple’s new wearable will soon experience a dramatic uptick in sales. And with the busy holiday shopping season fast approaching, the timing couldn’t be better.
But before we get into that, a quick rundown of Apple Watch sales is in order. So first off, a basic question: Is the Apple Watch thus far a rousing success or an embarrassing flop that will inevitably be brought up in the same breath as the iPod Hi-Fi? Depending on who you ask, you’re bound to get a smattering of different answers, in large part because Apple hasn’t yet disclosed specific sales figures for the device.

iPhone 6s packaging photos emerge online
The Spanish-language site iPhoneros on Friday published a series of photos which purport to show what the iPhone 6s packaging is going to look like. While we’ve seen a few such photos over the past few weeks, the most recent leak provides us with the clearest and most extensive picture of what we can expect to see Apple deliver from a packaging perspective.
As opposed to previous iPhone models, the 6s’ packaging doesn’t depict the iOS homescreen but instead displays a few snapshots of the animated photos Apple is planning to let iPhone 6s users choose as their background.

Think you can land a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket? This web game proves otherwise
Twice this year, SpaceX has tried to launch a reusable rocket and have it return to earth and land safely on a floating ocean platform. Both attempts ended in failure. Undoubtedly an engineering challenge of the highest order, a SpaceX rocket this past April came remarkably close to sticking the landing before swerving slightly off angle just a moment before touchdown.
Though watching video of the failed landing might make it seem easy, there’s literally no room for error when it comes to getting a 360+ ton rocket to land gracefully, right side up.

Our latest such example comes to us via The Associated Press, which has scored a video interview with the Reverend Bob Simon, a priest who spent the last 10 months building an incredible replica of the Vatican out of Legos.

Android fan strikes back at Apple’s ‘Move to iOS’ app the best way he knows how
For some inexplicable reason, Android fans threw a fit over the release of Apple’s Move to iOS app earlier this week. The app simply helps Android users migrate contacts, photos, messages, bookmarks and more from their device to an iPhone or iPad, but some diehards saw it as in intrusion on their home turf.
Now they have an app to download in response.

DSEI: Turreted AJAX tank prototype unveiled
Behold … the newly-minted tank Scout Specialist Vehicle (SV), now known as AJAX.
The turreted AJAX prototype was unveiled by General Dynamics at this year’s Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) show at London’s ExCel Exhibition Centre.
Ajax was a formidable warrior characterized by his colossal size, strength and honor, and served in the Trojan War according to Greek mythology. A warrior in Homer’s ‘Iliad,’ one of Ajax’s hallmarks was a powerful shield.

We may finally know the names of both new Google Nexus phones
We’ve already known that Google will call its new LG-manufactured Nexus model the Nexus 5X. But what about the bigger Nexus device that will be manufactured by Huawei? One of Droid Life’s sources has spilled the beans and it seems this year’s bigger Nexus device is going to be called… the Nexus 6P.
