Sprint is not about to let T-Mobile get away with having the cheapest iPhone 6s payment deal heading into Friday’s big launch. The carrier on Thursday announced that you’ll be able to pick up an iPhone 6s from Sprint on Friday and pay just $1 per month for it, provided you meet certain conditions.

Apple warning lists top 25 apps infected in massive App Store malware attack
After setting up a special help page that provides information about the massive XcodeGhost malware hack on its website, Apple has listed the top 25 iOS apps built using the counterfeit version of Xcode that was capable of injecting malware in apps before they were submitted to the App Store.

Innovation of the week: Gel-filled touchscreen morphs to add buttons when you need them
The device pictured in the image you see above might look a bit primitive, but it’s actually a prototype built to showcase technology that may very well be the future of touchscreens. Researchers from Technische Universität Berlin in Berlin, Germany built the device, which offers a brilliant solution for touchscreens by giving them real physical buttons that appear temporarily when you need them, and then vanish when you don’t.

One would think that analysts and pundits, after so many years of predicting a decline in iPhone sales, might someday come to their senses and stop betting against Apple. Every year, we’re bombarded with predictions and dire warnings that iPhone sales have topped out, that Apple’s spigot of innovation has becoming increasingly less potent and interesting. And yet, every year, without fail, Apple manages to shatter every existing iPhone sales record.
With the iPhone 6s set to hit stores this Friday, all indications point to Apple proving the pundits wrong and having another monster hit on its hands.

How ‘Metal Gear Solid V’ achieves such a high level of realism
In case you haven’t heard, one of the most realistic video games of all time debuted recently for the Xbox One and Playstation 4. “Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain” is a third-person shooter that lets you roam around army bases in Afghanistan and shoot the bad guys.
However, its open-ended gameplay, unscripted sequences, and factors like sound and changing weather create a sense of actually being on the battlefront. It’s a technical achievement that has earned rave reviews. As I found by playing the game myself, there’s nothing quite like it.
