Photo comparison: How far the iPhone’s camera has come in the past 8 years
Every year the iPhone’s camera seems to get better and better. However, there was a time when the iPhone’s camera wasn’t very good at all, as a photo gallery posted on Monday by Photo+ and MagiCam cofounder Lisa Bettany reminds us.

Samsung will pay you up to $220 to ditch your iPhone for a Galaxy S6 or Note 5
Don’t look now, but Samsung is really doing its best to take your money, even if that means having to pay you money to do it. Rather than further lowering the price of the Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy Note 5, Samsung now says it’ll pay your phone installments through 2016. Unsurprisingly, you’ll get more money if you’re willing to ditch the iPhone in favor of a new Galaxy model.

Google is having a big event on Tuesday to unveil its two new Nexus phones. But unlike Apple, which plays its cards closer to the vest, Google wasn’t able to protect the secrecy of its upcoming new devices, and we already know that the giant company plans to unveil two Nexus smartphones and a new Chromecast device during the show.
Here’s what you can expect to see at Google’s presser on Tuesday.

iPhone 6s first impressions: This year’s ‘S’ stands for ‘speed’
I bought a pink iPhone 6s last week and was fortunate enough to get it right on launch day. The moment I took it out of the box on Friday, I had this deja vu feeling you get with each S generation — except for the new color, the design is similar, and nothing is changed. But that’s where most of the people trying the iPhone 6s after an iPhone 6 would be wrong. Nothing is changed design-wise — or at least the modifications aren’t perceivable to the naked eye — yet everything is different.
Apple was right on stage when it said that everything changes with iPhone 6s, even if that might not be immediately apparent to many users.

The Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P will be even cheaper than we thought
If there’s one thing Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P leaks haven’t really nail down yet, it’s pricing information. The general consensus is that the Nexus 5X will be the cheaper new Nexus 5, while the Nexus 6P will be an even better version of the Nexus 6, and thus it’ll be priced accordingly.
However, with a day to go until Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow event kicks off, there are reports detailing the cost and preorder plans for the devices.

Who needs octa-core CPUs and 4GB of RAM? iPhone 6s is the fastest phone on the planet
The iPhone 6s is an absolute beast. With a blazing fast A9 processor and 2GB of RAM under the hood, not to mention Apple’s world-class integration of software and hardware, real world performance on the iPhone 6s has once again left competitors in the dust. Just a few days ago we highlighted how the iPhone 6s, in initial Geekbench 3 testing, absolutely destroyed the Galaxy S6 and other top Android handsets.
Now, in preliminary benchmark results compiled Joshua Ho of AnandTech, it’s clear that Apple’s new iPhones have set a new bar for performance across the smartphone industry.

Microsoft finally responds to accusations that Windows 10 spies on users
Ever since Windows 10 launched back in July, one topic of conversation has overshadowed everything the new operating system does right: privacy concerns. Everyone with a Windows device is (rightfully) terrified that Microsoft is monitoring everything they do, so on Monday, Microsoft decided to finally issue an official response in order to clear the air.

Video showcases iPhone 6s’ new Live Photos feature
More than 13 million people took delivery of their shiny new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus handsets this past weekend, and they spent the hours that followed digging through every nook and cranny of the new phones’ software. Apple baked a number of exciting new hardware enhancements and software features into its latest and greatest iPhones, and many are calling them Apple’s biggest iPhone update ever.
Of course, not everyone managed to get their hands on a new iPhone 6s this past weekend. Luckily, there are hundreds of hands-on videos out there that show off all of the phone’s best new features, including the new “Live Photos” feature that Apple showed off on stage earlier this month when it debuted its new iPhone lineup.
