When Amazon started as an online bookstore however many years ago, did anyone ever think it would one day become the biggest online retailer in America? No, of course not. And then once Amazon took the throne, did anyone ever think it would branch out into making its own hardware? That’s another big fat no, but Amazon’s tablets and set-top boxes have become a huge part of the company’s strategy. What’s more, they offer what might very well offer some of the best values in the business — and that’s when they’re not even on sale at a discount.
