We’ve been down this path before, but it’s looking increasingly likely that this may in fact be the last time. After a big mistake turned Dorian Nakamoto’s life upside down in 2014 when Newsweek unmasked the wrong man, the true Satoshi Nakamoto has seemingly come forward in a blog post and a coordinated reveal with several news agencies. Australian Craig Wright claims to be the inventor of popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin, and he apparently has provided technical evidence to back up his claim by providing keys tied to coins that are widely known to be in the possession of Bitcoin’s inventor.

Developer gets Windows 95 running on an Apple Watch

The Apple Watch may admittedly feel a big sluggish at times, but the device’s internals – 520 MHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage – are more impressive than what many old PCs were running back in the early to mid 90s. That being the case, developer Nick Lee recently took it upon himself to see if he could get Microsoft’s seminal Windows release – Windows 95 – up and running on the Apple Watch.

Elon Musk confirms Tesla Model 3 will have Ludicrous Mode

%name Articles of Interest by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

During Tesla’s Model 3 unveiling this past March, Elon Musk confidently boasted, “At Tesla, we don’t make slow cars.” And true to form, Tesla over the past few years has demonstrated a near obsession with speed. First, Tesla introduced Insane Mode, a feature which allowed a dual-motor Model S P85D go from 0-60 in just 3.2 seconds. Pushing the envelope even further, Tesla last year introduced a Ludicrous Mode which let a top of the line Model S go from 0 to 60 in just 2.8 seconds.

Hell, even Tesla’s crossover SUV – the Model X – is no slouch in the speed department as it can go from 0 to 60 in just 3.2 seconds when in Ludicrous Mode. Just recently, we highlighted a video showcasing a Model X being able to keep up with a Ferrari F430 in a drag race.

How many people can the Earth actually hold?

%name Articles of Interest by Authcom, Nova Scotia\s Internet and Computing Solutions Provider in Kentville, Annapolis Valley

Earth may only be a tiny blip on the map relative to the entire universe, but for our purposes, it’s pretty darn big. Of course, the vast majority of earth – about 70% – is comprised of water. Taking that into account, the actual area of land on earth is estimated to be around 150 million square kilometers.

That being the case, Life Noggin recently set out to examine how many human beings the earth is capable of holding; not in a physical sense, but more in the sense of how many people can be sustained by the Earth’s finite resources. Today, the earth’s population checks in at about 7 billion, but that figure will only increase in the years ahead thanks to improvements in medicine and other health-positive factors. In fact, it’s estimated that the human population by the end of the century will be 10 billion strong.
