Eight years ago, back in the early days of the App Store, Epic Games set the world of mobile gaming on fire with an action RPG called Infinity Blade. As the first iOS game to use the Unreal Engine, it looked more like a console game than anything else available on smartphones at the time, and went on to achieve record-breaking sales.

Infinity Blade was followed by two sequels in 2011 and 2013, but Epic hadn’t had much to say about the franchise in recent years. That is, until the studio announced on Monday that all three games were being removed from the App Store. This isn’t the first popular mobile game to be retired, but considering its place in the history of smartphone gaming, it’s somewhat surprising to see it killed off so unceremoniously and without any warning.

It was late August when a mysterious hole was discovered in a Soyuz spacecraft attached to the International Space Station. The hole, which had apparently be hastily patched before the Soyuz launched from Earth, eventually broke open and began leaking air out into space, at which point the space station’s system detected it.

Initially thought to be the result of a micrometeorite impact, subsequent investigation revealed it to be man made, and Russia launched a full investigation to determine where and when it was created. Now, with the Soyuz nearing its reentry date, Russian cosmonauts aboard the ISS will venture out into space to get a better look at the damage from the outside.

Within the past seven days alone, we’ve seen leaked benchmarks, multiple purported photos of the Galaxy S10+, and hints that the S10s will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. Prolific Twitter leaker Ice Universe shared a photo of what he claims is a “protective film” for the rumored Galaxy S10 Lite on Tuesday, which is expected to be the smaller, slightly more affordable model of the 2019 lineup.
