A brilliant ‘Avengers: Endgame’ theory attempts to explain a major Ant-Man mystery
With each day that brings us closer to the Avengers: Endgame premiere, we get more and more theories that look to explain what will happen in the movie that will conclude Phase 3 of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe and set the stage for the upcoming new phase. Not all of them make perfect sense, no matter how amazing they might sound. The following theory is a great example, and it attempts to explain one of the huge mysteries following the events in Infinity War. There are a few reasons that we shouldn’t get too excited about it, despite how brilliant it is thanks to its involvement of a fan-favorite supporting character from the MCU.

This new leak is our best look yet at Samsung’s Galaxy S10 in the wild
Samsung will finally take the wraps off its next range of flagship smartphones sometime in the next few months, but at the rate the leaks are spilling out, there won’t be much left to reveal by then. On Thursday, VentureBeat reporter Evan Blass shared what appears to be the first clear look at the Galaxy S10 (codenamed Beyond 1) in the wild. And while the screen has been blurred, the design appears to mirror what we’ve seen in leaks and reports.
The purported photograph of the phone shows us very little that we don’t already know. As expected, the Galaxy S10 will be Samsung’s first flagship phone to feature an Infinity-O display, which the company unveiled late last year. By cutting out a small hole for the front-facing camera, Samsung was able to eliminate the notch.

LG unveils 2019 TVs ahead of CES, headlined by an 88-inch 8K OLED TV
With just days to go before CES 2019 kicks off in Las Vegas, LG has pulled back the curtain on its slate of flagship TVs set to launch in 2019. Each of the company’s 2019 TVs will be powered by the second generation of its Alpha 9 intelligent processor and deep learning algorithm, which it claims will provide “a higher level of AI picture and sound experience quality” by analyzing source content and recognizing optimized conditions for the user.
In addition to the upgraded processor, LG has also partnered with Amazon to build Alexa directly into the platform. Rather than being forced to use an external speaker to control your TV via Alexa, you can just hit the Amazon Prime Video button on your Magic Remote. You can ask questions, manage your smart home devices, play music, check the weather, or anything else you’d normally do through Alexa.

Read Tim Cook’s full memo to Apple employees following the company’s grim earnings warning
The broken clock pundits are working overtime on Thursday morning following a grim earnings warning that Apple issued on Wednesday afternoon. After all these years of claiming that Apple’s iPhone sales were doomed to collapse, the company finally ran into some serious trouble last quarter as growing tensions between the US and China apparently took a big bite out of iPhone sales. Apple relies on the iPhone for the bulk of its revenue and profit each quarter, so sliding sales inevitably have a huge impact on the company’s performance.
According to the revised guidance the company issued on Wednesday afternoon, Apple now expects to report $84 billion in revenue for the fiscal first quarter, down from the $89 billion to $93 billion range Apple initially provided last October. That’s an on-year decline of nearly 5%, so investors are obviously not happy. Apple shares were trading down more than 9% in Thursday’s pre-market session.

Leak sheds light on what might be 2019’s most exciting new Android phone
The world’s first smartphone to feature a penta-lens camera module on the back is launching soon, according to a series of leaks. But the first-gen Nokia 9 PureView won’t be a real 2019 flagship Android device, as it’ll offer buyers a design reminiscent of 2017 phones and a processor from last year. An improved version is tipped to arrive in the second half of the year. That said, Nokia 9 phones will be available for purchase in multiple markets including the US, and it looks like it won’t be the only five-cam phone American smartphone shoppers will miss out on. A different Android flagship may feature a five-lens camera when it launches in late 2019 and just like the Nokia 9, it will be unavailable in US stores.
