Apple’s video service to launch in April, but HBO and Netflix may not be on board
With iPhone sales remaining stagnant and unlikely to see a significant boost until the roll out of 5G iPhones in 2020, it’s no secret that Apple has been making a concerted effort to boost revenue from its growing line of services. Apple Music, for example, continues to grow at an impressive clip, with Tim Cook revealing during the company’s most recent earnings conference call that the music streaming service now has upwards of 50 million subscribers.
Beyond music, Apple’s next big push into services centers on TV, and in particular, original programming. Over the past 18 months or so, Apple has been busy inking development deals with some of Hollywood’s most popular and influential content creators. And similar to Netflix’s strategy, the range of original programming Apple currently has in the pipeline spans all types of genres.

Rose Leslie says Kit Harington didn’t actually spoil ‘Game of Thrones’ season 8 for her
Kit Harington generated a massive wave of headlines in recent weeks, including one we shared with you here, thanks to an interview he gave to a British radio station. To recap: The actor who plays Jon Snow on HBO’s Game of Thrones said he’s told his wife how it all ends, and for some reason — we all speculated possibly relating to her displeasure with Jon Snow’s fate — she wouldn’t talk to Kit for a few days after that.
Now his wife Rose Leslie, who of course played the wildling Ygritte for a few seasons, is weighing in with her say. And it seems it didn’t actually go down like that. Per Rose, Jon kind of exaggerated the “not talking to him” part. Oh — and he apparently spoiled Season 7, not the ending to Season 8 we’re all dying to see.

This tarantula has a giant ‘horn’ on its back, in case you needed some nightmare fuel
Spiders are incredibly valuable members of the animal kingdom, but there’s definitely something about them that makes a lot of humans nervous. Whether it’s their habit of lurking in dark corners or the big, furry legs of the larger species, people tend to want to avoid them at all costs.
If you happen to be one of the many whose stomach churns at the sight of an eight-legged creepy-crawly, you’re going to want to just close this page and move on with your life. For those of you who are still here, allow me to introduce you to a brand new species of tarantula that has nine appendages instead of the customary eight.

New report details Google’s 2019 product roadmap, including the Pixel 4
It’s too early to talk about the Pixel 4 flagship phone that Google will likely launch sometime in the fourth quarter this year, but sources said to be familiar with the matter have revealed Google’s hardware plans for 2019, which unsurprisingly include a bunch of new devices. In addition to the Pixel 3 successors that will be released later this year, Google will start selling a cheaper Pixel 3 version soon. Updates for Home products are also in the works, and the first ever Pixel Watch is supposedly in the making.

‘Avengers: Endgame’ theory suggests Marvel hid a big spoiler in plain sight
Marvel and Disney have so far released just two Avengers: Endgame clips, including the first trailer for the movie and the TV commercial that was aired during Super Bowl LIII a few days ago. While the second video is so much shorter than the main trailer, it does pack a ton of scenes into a tight space, including one that fans believe Marvel may have altered in an effort to keep a key plot detail secret. Fans, of course, have already tried to explain what happens in that scene and why Marvel was looking to obfuscate it in trailers.
