Countless months of rumors, reports, and leaks have all led to this moment, as Samsung prepares to take the stage for its annual Galaxy Unpacked event. Unpacked 2019 will take place in San Francisco, California on February 20th at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET, and in celebration of the tenth anniversary of its smartphone line, Samsung will reveal the Galaxy S10 and its variants, which include the larger S10+, the cheaper S10e, and a 5G model.

Samsung has also repeatedly hinted at the appearance of its first foldable smartphone (which we expect to be called the Galaxy Fold), but it’s unclear how much we’ll actually see during the event. After all, the focus of this Unpacked show will be the flagship Galaxy S10, and Samsung likely doesn’t want to distract consumers.

When you’re getting ready in the morning and need to know whether to wear a jacket or not you probably just tap your smartphone screen a few times and bring up a local weather report. If mankind ever plans on colonizing Mars, the first visitors will benefit greatly from a similar service that offers weather outlooks for the Red Planet.

NASA’s InSight lander touched down on Mars a few months back and in the time since its arrival it set up a bunch of neat tools it will use to monitor the interior of the planet. Its primary mission is to relay data on the inner workings of Mars but the robot is equipped with sensors that allow it to produce its own Martian weather reports as well, and you can browse them yourself.

Marvel is known for doing everything it can to keep the plot of its MCU superhero flicks secret for as long as possible. They will mislead fans with the help of trailers, and even circumvent the truth whenever needed, and we all accept that. It’s how the game works. But the stars who play some of our favorite characters can’t always help themselves. We’ve seen several of them drop spoilers along the way, including a few gems that could have ruined a film like Avengers: Infinity War, had they been taken seriously at the time. But the ending of Avengers 3 is so perfectly shocking that it practically ensures the success of Endgame.

Everything new on Netflix in March 2019

Scrolling through next month’s selection of new arrivals on Netflix, I found myself a bit underwhelmed. That’s not to say that there aren’t plenty of original movies, shows, and specials set to launch in March (because, as always, there are), but there didn’t seem to be quite as many returning hits and exciting blockbusters as I expected. But that may just be a matter of personal taste, and you’re sure to find something worth watching below.

For example, Santa Clarita Diet, Terrace House, and Queer Eye are all returning for new seasons in March, while the final eight episodes of Arrested Development’s fifth season are dropping as well. Ben Affleck’s Triple Frontier comes out in March too, and I’ll probably rewatch Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist.

Apple will reportedly combine iPhone, iPad, and Mac apps by 2021

Apple wants to unite all three of its major platforms within the next two years by combining apps made for its phones, tablets, and computers. According to a report from Bloomberg, Apple’s multi-step initiative (called “Marzipan”) will give developers the ability to build a single app and have it work seamlessly across the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Bloomberg first reported on this in 2017, with Apple confirming the initiative at WWDC 2018 last year.

Sources say that Apple will release a software development kit this year — possibly as early as WWDC 2019 in June — that will let developers port their iPad apps to macOS. Separate versions of the app will still need to be submitted for the iOS App Store and Mac App Store, but the developers won’t have to write the code twice.
