New ‘Avengers: Endgame’ theory says the most powerful Avenger died at the snap, and we missed it
When the Avengers return in April in Avengers: Endgame, we’ll get answers to all the questions we had at the end of Infinity War, and we’ve got quite a few questions that need addressing. Until then, however, fans will not stop producing interesting theories about how the Avengers will win the day in Endgame, and about other events in the movies. That’s the case for today’s theory. While it does have one big flaw, it’s still exciting nonetheless. A Redditor claims that a beloved character has died in Infinity War and nobody even saw it happen.

LG is about to unveil an Android phone like no other – follow our live blog from MWC 2019
LG is hosting the fourth big smartphone event from Barcelona this Sunday, and it’s in a time slot that is usually reserved for Samsung’s Galaxy S announcements. However, Samsung did things a little different this year, as it ambushed its competitors with a massive Unpacked event last week where it launched the new Galaxy S10 flagship series as well as its first foldable phone. LG doesn’t have a foldable phone in the pipeline — not for MWC 2019 at least — but the company is about to unveil an Android phone like no other. On top of that, its first-ever 5G phone will be introduced at the show. Unlike its competitors, however, LG isn’t providing a live stream of the event, so make sure you follow our live blog at the bottom of this post for all the latest updates from the press conference.

Everything new coming to Netflix this week, and everything leaving (week of Feb. 24)
The end of this week just so happens to overlap with the beginning of next month, which means you’ve got a metric ton of new content to choose from over the weekend. There aren’t too many highlights to point out, but here are a few licensed additions that stand out: A Clockwork Orange, The Hurt Locker, Wet Hot American Summer, Winter’s Bone, and a whole bunch of Jeopardy episodes for those of you who don’t want too much excitement.
Sadly, the first of the month also marks the biggest collection of departures, but we aren’t losing too much of value. It’s sad to see Ghostbusters go, but unless you’re a huge Bruce Almighty fan, you should be alright.

Watch live as Nokia unveils the world’s first smartphone with a 5-lens camera
It was only two years ago that HMD Global stormed Mobile World Congress with what was one of the most anticipated press conferences of the event. Just like that, Nokia was back, baby — and Nokia Android phones became exciting for the first time in the history of the brand. Since then, the company launched quite a few entry-level and mid-range Android devices, as well as a few flagships that weren’t entirely ready to compete against their direct rivals. The main focus was clear: HMD wanted to sell affordable devices around the world, and the company quickly expanded in various markets like China, Europe, and the US.
But that doesn’t mean HMD is steering clear of high-end devices that will take on the latest iPhone and Galaxy S models. MWC 2019 will bring us the first such device, the Nokia 9 PureView that has been rumored for 2 years now. And the Nokia 9 just so happens to be the world’s first handset with a five-lens camera setup on the back.

This chart makes the Oscars look out of touch with average movie fans
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences raised a bit of a fuss recently when it proposed adding a new category to the Oscars this year — that of a “Most Popular” movie. The thinking being, the “Best Picture” Oscar doesn’t necessarily recognize that popularity metric, right?
The Academy of course walked it back, but we should note that the “Best Picture” category as a whole this year has actually generated a strong collective box office haul. As Variety reported in recent days, the $1.3 billion in box office receipts earned by this year’s “Best Picture” nominees is the best performance in almost a decade. Let’s look a little deeper at this, though.

Forget the Galaxy Fold, Huawei just unveiled an absolutely gorgeous foldable phone
In the weeks that preceded MWC 2019, Huawei teased that it would unveil a foldable phone at the show. Then with a couple of days to go until Huawei’s press event, that device leaked. Well, that leaked device is very real, it’s gorgeous, and it also happens to be Huawei’s first 5G smartphone. Unfortunately I only got to see the new Mate X from a distance, because the media wasn’t allowed to handle the prototypes that Huawei had on hand at the show.

The MateBook X Pro was already a great laptop, but Huawei made it even better
Instead of launching new mobile phones last year at MWC 2018, Huawei unveiled a brand new high-end laptop that looked like a MacBook Pro competitor, as well as a bunch of new Android tablets. The notebook is without a doubt one of the devices you need to check out before you buy a new Windows 10 machine. But if you haven’t upgraded your laptop in a while then you should know Huawei is back at MWC 2019 with an even better version of the MateBook X Pro. The company calls it the new MateBook X Pro, and it’s the flagship of the MateBook series.
