More huge ‘Avengers: Endgame’ spoilers describe a heartbreaking superhero death
A monster leak on Friday seemed to deliver believable Avengers: Endgame plot details until Redditors figured out that the post was being continuously updated through March. That’s why the post contained so much accurate information from Captain Marvel, including credits scenes that tie the film to Avengers 4, as well as details about Endgame footage that Disney showed a few days ago. Then, on Saturday, we found an Ask-Me-Anything (AMA) thread on Reddit that a supposed former Endgame crew member started, which offered many details about the film’s plot.
The new Redditor was partially verified but seemed to be a bit confused about how to use Reddit, which made piecing together the information a rather daunting task. Once you dive into Reddit, however, there’s no turning back unless you’ve got a special Quantum Realm suit, and that’s how I found a much older Endgame plot spoiler that seems to match the newest leak. As was the case before, massive spoilers follow below, assuming the information is accurate. It’s too late for me, but you can still save yourself from ruining the surprise if you turn back now.

Everything new coming to Netflix this week, and everything leaving (week of Mar. 17)
The latter weeks of any given month are always a bit quiet when it comes to Netflix releases. The streaming service always front-loads its release schedule with all the noteworthy licensed content, sprinkling original shows and movies throughout the rest of the month. Therefore, it’s no surprise that all 12 of the new additions this week are originals, including Amy Schumer’s new special, and the second part of The OA.
The slow drip of Disney content leaving the service continues as well, with 2017’s live-action Beauty and the Beast remake being removed, but the good news is that nothing else is being taken off Netflix. All in all, not an especially interesting week, but there’s still plenty from last week to tide you over until April.

‘Avengers: Endgame’ and every new trailer from this week you need to watch
I could tell you about quite a few new movies that are about to hit cinemas this week, including sci-fi stories like Captive State, tragic love stories like Five Feet Apart, dramas like The Mustang and The Aftermath, or the kind of new arrival that gets kids excited the Wonder Park animated feature. But the movie you need to see if you haven’t already is Captain Marvel, which premiered last week taking home a huge opening weekend purse. Also of interest is Netflix’s Triple Frontier, which is ready for streaming. When it comes to new trailers, the only trailer that matters this week hails from the MCU, and it’s the second full Avengers: Endgame that we got to see.

Director of Netflix’s gritty new outlaw drama ‘The Highwaymen’ takes us behind the scenes
Director John Lee Hancock has been trying for 13 years to make a movie about outlaws and the grizzled lawmen who hunt them down. Not just any outlaws on the lam, mind you — Bonnie and Clyde, the Depression-era celebrity bandits who went on a robbing and killing spree that ended with the pair cut to pieces in a hail of gunfire. Hancock wanted to tell this story from the point of view of the guys with badges who brought the legendary bank robbers down. So the director, whose past credits include films like The Blind Side and Saving Mr. Banks, started checking all the usual items off his list.

Massive ‘Avengers: Endgame’ leak spoils hero deaths, a surprise villain, credits scenes, and more
The hardest part when reporting on spoilers for movies that you want to see yourself is that you’ll know ahead of time what’s about to go down. Take the credits scenes from Captain Marvel that leaked a few days before the premiere. I stayed in the theater to see both of them, but I hated that I already knew what was about to happen. All the while, most of the people around me reacted with surprise and excitement after seeing the connection to Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
The only reason why I’m telling you all this is because just like me, you won’t be able to unsee what you’re about to read. We’ve talked about people leaking some events from Endgame in the past, but this time we might be looking at the biggest Endgame leak ever. So, beware, Avengers fans, because SOME TRULY MASSIVE SPOILERS follow below.

Scientists demand a prohibition on human genetic modification
It’s now been several months since Chinese geneticist He Jiankui announced to the world that he had genetically modified human embryos which were then carried to term and resulted in twin girls. His work, which has come under harsh criticism from every corner of the scientific community, landed him in state detention and he may even face the death penalty once all is said and done.
He’s fate aside, a group of genetics researchers are now demanding stricter regulations on human genetic modification, begging their colleagues to join them in an agreement to avoid such work until more can be learned about the potential medical and ethical risks of gene modification in humans.
