Report claims Boeing has been forced to delay first Starliner launch by months
NASA needs a way to get astronauts to the International Space Station that doesn’t involve paying Russia heaps of money, so it struck deals with both SpaceX and Boeing to build crew capsules capable of fulfilling that need. Earlier this month, SpaceX successfully sent its Crew Dragon capsule to the International Space Station, paving the way for crew tests to be conducted within months, but what about Boeing?
A new report from Reuters suggests that Boeing is having a much, much harder time getting its Starliner spacecraft ready for its first big test. Boeing, which analysts thought would beat SpaceX’s Crew Dragon to delivery by a significant margin, has now reportedly pushed back its maiden flight to the space station by several months, and the first crewed flights won’t happen until close to the end of the year, if they happen in 2019 at all.

Walmart may develop its own game streaming service, because why not
Days after Google unveiled its Stadia game streaming platform, and with other tech giants like Microsoft keen on streaming as the future of gaming, the biggest retailer in the world apparently wants to play, too.
Walmart is reportedly in talks with developers and publishers to launch a game streaming service of its own, according to a report from US Gamer. The caveat, of course, is that these are still just talks for now, and that it’s not clear how far along Walmart’s plans are — or if anything will even come of them.

Shocker! Facebook improperly stored hundreds of millions of passwords in plain text
Over the past few years, Facebook hasn’t done much to convince users that it takes user privacy as seriously as it should. Indeed, it seems that the social networking giant can’t even go a month without some new scandal or security breach making the news. Most recently, Facebook revealed that the passwords of hundreds of millions of Facebook and Instagram were improperly stored in plain text on internal servers. In short, Facebook employees could have potentially looked up the passwords for individual users, though there’s no indication that this actually happened.
Nonetheless, many would argue that Facebook hasn’t exactly earned the benefit of the doubt with respect to security and user privacy.

A Texas home was completely taken over by rattlesnakes, and the video is horrifying
It takes a special kind of person to make a career out of removing deadly creatures from people’s homes. That’s exactly what Nathan Hawkins, owner of Big Country Snake Removal, has chosen to do with his life, but even he couldn’t have been prepared for what he saw when he arrived at a Texas home whose owner had complained of a “few” snakes taking up residence below his abode.
Upon closer inspection, Big Country Snake Removal quickly realized that the problem was a bit larger than the owner had assumed, and after the crew was done, a total of 45 of the venomous reptiles were removed from the home. Thankfully the entire process was documented on video.
