A massive ‘Avengers: Endgame’ leak with heartbreaking spoilers might’ve just been proven real
Following Avengers: Endgame leaks and spoilers is tricky business. We try to share important things we come across that seem like they could be legitimate, but the odds are good that much of what’s out there will end up being untrue. Some leaks come straight from Marvel, its partners, or actors who worked on Avengers 4, so we can state pretty conclusively that they’re the real deal. For example, someone who worked on the movie accidentally spilled the beans just last week and confirmed a main character will die in Endgame. But if the source of a spoiler isn’t as solid as that, it’s obviously much more difficult to gauge… most of the time.
That brings us to three big leaks that we shared with you last week, and we’re going to revisit them now. Why would we already go back and recap leaks if we just covered them a few short days ago? Because it turns out that they may have inadvertently confirmed a much older Avengers: Endgame leak that was packed full of spoilers. At the time, no one could verify that the source of the huge leak indeed had any inside knowledge of the movie. Knowing what we do now, however, that original leak may have actually spoiled the entire film. Needless to say, some potentially massive spoilers follow below so you should close this window right now if you want to avoid them.

Happy 15th birthday to Gmail, which is about to get a great feature we’ve been waiting for
It’s hard to believe that Gmail celebrates its 15th birthday today, debuting as it did on April 1 way back in 2004 — back when, given the date, many people thought Google was pulling our leg by announcing a free email service on this day of all days. “Google Gets the Message, Launches Gmail,” the press release from the time declared. “Search is Number Two Online Activity — Email is Number One; ‘Heck, Yeah,’ Say Google Founders”.

Sega Genesis Mini to launch in September 2019 with 40 games
There’s always a lot of money to be made riding the wave of video game nostalgia, a lesson Nintendo was pleasantly surprised to learn when it launched the NES Classic Edition back in late 2016. The miniaturized console, if you remember, was an immediate hit and quickly became one of the hottest ticket items that holiday season.
Looking to hop on the bandwagon, Sega recently announced at Sega Fes 2019 that it will officially launch the Sega Genesis Mini later this year. Similar to the NES Classic Edition, the Genesis Mini will come pre-loaded with a number of the console’s more memorable games, including Sonic The Hedgehog and Castlevania: Bloodlines.

A professor and his students turned an observatory into a giant R2-D2, and it’s amazing
People who study science day in and day out usually have some fondness for science fiction, and Professor Hubert Zitt is no exception. Zitt, who lectures at Germany’s University of Kaiserslautern, happens to be a huge fan of Star Trek and Star Wars, and when he looked at the Zweibrücken Observatory he clearly saw what it resembled.
The dull, grey observatory served an important purpose for scientists, but it was also a bit drab looking. So, with the help of painter Klaus Ruffing and some of Zitt’s own students, the tall dome got an extreme makeover and now it sports some serious Star Wars flair.

OnePlus 7’s rumored all-screen design looks incredible in these renders
OnePlus released its first smartphone back in 2014, and the company had a fantastic strategy at that time: release a phone that offered flagship specs and performance at half the price of a flagship phone. Since the OnePlus One launched with prices starting at $299, OnePlus smartphones have gotten far more expensive. In fact, the cheapest current-generation OnePlus 6T you can buy costs $579. But if you look more closely at that $579 phone, you’ll find that it packs a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, a flagship Snapdragon processor, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and a dual-lens camera system on the back. A similarly equipped Galaxy S10+ costs $1,000, and the cheapest iPhone XS Max you can buy costs $1,100. In other words, OnePlus is still making phones that are just as powerful and impressive as flagships from big-name brands, and it’s still charging about half as much money.
In 2019, OnePlus is expected to release three new flagship smartphones, the first of which is the OnePlus 7. And as has been the case with generations past, we have very high expectations for this upcoming new OnePlus handset.

Everything new coming to Netflix this week, and everything leaving (week of Mar. 31)
As we noted when Netflix shared its slate of releases for April, this month isn’t packed with quite as many obvious hits as we’re used to seeing, but most of the exciting additions will be arriving in the first week. That includes the return of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and the return of the beloved David Attenborough, who will narrate the Netflix original Our Planet (from the same team that did BBC’s Planet Earth series).
There are also over two dozen pieces of licensed content dropping on April 1st, including Deliverance, I Am Legend, Pineapple Express, The Fifth Element, and an odd, but compelling, selection of horror movies. Unfortunately, there are a fair number of departures as well, so say goodbye to a bunch of James Bond flicks.

Some of the biggest ‘Avengers: Endgame’ spoilers we’ve seen might be totally fake
With less than a month to go before Avengers: Endgame finally hits theaters around the world, spoilers have been popping up left and right. We’ve seen them originate in plenty of different places, from toy leaks and actor interviews to the footage in the official trailers created by Marvel Studios. In fact, there’s a chance that an insider recently spoiled the entire Avengers 4 movie when he posted a detailed description of all three acts on Reddit. Of course, at this point there’s simply no way to confirm whether or not that huge leak is legitimate. There is some evidence to suggest that it might be, but nothing concrete unfortunately.
Meanwhile, several other spoilers have come directly from the Avengers: Endgame scenes we’ve seen in the official trailers and teasers. We even published a shot by shot analysis of the second Avengers: Endgame trailer shortly after it was released, and we found all sorts of interesting tidbits as well as something that could be a huge spoiler. According to a recent interview, however, we can’t really trust anything we saw in those trailers.

AT&T is giving away an Iron Throne replica to a lucky ‘Game of Thrones’ fan
We’ve seen some pretty unconventional marketing and promotions ahead of the final season of Game of Thrones, not that the hit HBO series needs to really try at all to gin up interest ahead of the April 14 Season 8 premiere to get people to watch.
This new one, though, is pretty fitting. The series includes rival kingdoms grabbing for power, with their monarchs angling to be the one who sits on the seat of power, the Iron Throne. Which is why AT&T and HBO have teamed up to give away to one Game of Thrones fan an $18,000 replica of the throne, one that measures over 7 feet tall and weighs a little more than 300 pounds.
