First full clip of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ is all about the plan to beat Thanos
We talked not once (Disney’s shareholders meeting), not twice (CinemaCon 2019), but three times (Avengers: Endgame press event) about this scene, and many fans probably know it by heart by now. But Marvel just made it available for everyone to see, almost in its entirety. With less than three weeks to go until the Avengers: Endgame premiere, we get to see the plan to go after Thanos in full, as it will be presented in the movie.
Before you ask, this isn’t a massive spoiler. We already know this is the crux of Endgame. They want to beat Thanos once and for all — and we know how they think they can do it. But if you don’t want to see any scenes from the movie at all before April 26th, now’s a good time to hang back and ignore this new video.

Apple rumored to launch two new OLED iPhone models with triple-lens cameras in 2019
We’re still months out from the official reveal of Apple’s next iPhone lineup, but most of the early rumors and reports have indicated that we will see three direct successors to the XS, XS Max and XR in 2019. There will be more than a few new features, and the standard bump in specifications, but we’re not expecting any major design changes or new models. At least, we weren’t, until Macotakara released a surprising report on Monday morning.
According to the Japanese technology blog, Apple has five new iPhone models planned for 2019. In addition to the updated XS, XS Max, and XR models, reliable supply chain sources claim that Apple is working on two other OLED iPhone models built specifically to accommodate the triple-lens rear camera.

This foldable gaming smartphone looks so much better than Samsung’s Galaxy Fold
The trajectory of smartphone design these days is increasingly veering off into non-traditional niches, with the more traditional and most popular phone designs increasingly the product of a shrinking number of big companies like Apple and Samsung. Meanwhile, we’ve reported on lots of smaller players like Oppo and LG trying to carve out a niche for themselves in this market, with Sharp being a new addition to this list.
Based on newly discovered patent documentation, it seems that Sharp sees a future in combining two non-traditional smartphone categories into one — foldability, and gaming.

Robert Downey Jr. just told us there’s ‘no way’ anyone will guess what happens in ‘Avengers: Endgame’
Remember way back in November when we were dying to see Avengers 4 footage? Well, Marvel and Disney delivered just that in the span of only a few days, potentially revealing specific minor spoilers about the film while simultaneously dropping more misleading clues to obfuscate what will actually happen in Avengers: Endgame. On top of the new trailer, TV spot, and private scene screenings that took place last week, Marvel put out a brand new Endgame featurette in which several of the original six Avengers drum up hype about the upcoming movie as if that’s needed. But what’s interesting is that Robert Downey Jr., who’s played Iron Man in a bunch of MCU films so far, says there’s “no way anybody could guess what’s gonna happen.”

Netflix has an annoying excuse for killing AirPlay support
One of the simplest ways to start watching your favorite Netflix shows is to get a hold of your phone and then just beam the content to a big screen TV. It’s that easy. But Netflix seems determined to make it harder than that for those people who pull this move with the help of iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV — or other AirPlay 2 compatible devices.

The explosive fury of an airplane toilet flushing might be a lot quieter soon
The frequent fliers amongst you will no doubt be aware that newer airplanes come with increasingly quieter cabins, which can make long flights a little more bearable, but can also be something of a double-edged sword. If you read the title, you already know where we’re going with this.
The reduced noise level only amplifies the volume of passengers flushing the toilet, which generally sounds like a terrifying approximation of standing with your head in a jet engine. Luckily, though, some Brigham Young University physicists think they’ve solved the intractable problem of the overly loud airplane loo.

Everything new coming to Netflix this week, and everything leaving (week of Apr. 7)
It’s not often that the departures from Netflix are more noteworthy than the arrivals, but that might be the case this week as the entire animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars series is taking its leave from the streaming service. Though the movies that covered this time period in the Star Wars saga were rightly maligned, the Cartoon Network series was shockingly good. Hopefully it’ll pop back up on Disney+ later this year (or whenever it launches).
The biggest addition of the month might be You vs. Wild, which is a spinoff of sorts on Man vs. Wild in which you make decisions for host Bear Grylls and guide him on an adventure. It will be interesting to see if this generates as much buzz as Bandersnatch, which was Netflix’s first major foray into interactive storytelling.
