Apple is rumored to be replacing iTunes on the Mac with something even better
iTunes used to be the app I used most frequently on my Mac. It’s where I’d go to buy and listen to music, enjoy podcasts, and even watch downloaded movies and TV shows on occasion. These days, though, I rarely use iTunes. In fact, I can’t even remember the last time I opened the app at all.
Part of the problem — aside from the fact that the world has largely gone mobile — is that iTunes on the Mac has steadily become a bloated mess. As it stands now, Apple houses an insane amount of content under the iTunes umbrella and, as a result, actually using the app to find and enjoy content has become downright cumbersome, if not confusing.

LG’s transparent foldable smartphone design barely looks like a phone at all
It was probably inevitable that we’d eventually see a smartphone design that combines transparent screens with a foldable form factor. LG has just patented a design for such a handset this week, following its experimentation with see-through displays over the last few years — and then showing off a partly transparent OLED TV at CES a few months ago.
Sony, meanwhile, has also been thinking along these same lines in terms of smartphones, patenting a design for a transparent handset at the end of 2018. And then on Tuesday, the US Patent and Trademark Office published the LG patent (which you can see here) for its own version of that same idea — a smartphone that’s transparent, but also foldable.

Galaxy Fold hands-on video hints that AT&T will sell Samsung’s first foldable phone
Samsung’s first foldable phone, the Galaxy Fold is coming soon to various markets. Samsung confirmed as much weeks ago when it finally gave the handset a proper launch. Samsung then showed the Galaxy Fold to the world at Mobile World Congress, but nobody was actually allowed to touch it.
All you could do was look at the handset, placed behind a glass window, playing a Galaxy Fold presentation video on loop. But the phone’s launch is only getting closer, as hands-on clips have started popping up online. The most recent video seems to indicate that AT&T will soon launch the handset.

Disney’s latest trailer for ‘The Lion King’ has us beyond pumped
Over the past few years, it’s been a little frustrating watching the folks in Hollywood lazily churn out remake after remake after remake. Call me old-fashioned, but I’d rather see clever and original movies and TV shows instead of being bombarded with a seemingly endless string of superhero movies and nostalgia-fueled reboots a la Fuller House.
That said, there are a few exceptions to the rule, and the upcoming live-action remake of Disney’s The Lion King is a prime example.
